Beautiful paint, but expensive
A fabulous highly granulating paint but likely to granulate your bank account - it's expensive!! Gorgeous used alone, or blended with staining watercolours, especially the brightly pigmented ones, giving a beautiful dulled down grungey effect. I'd have given it 5* if it wasn't for the price.

Amazing addition
Moonglow watercolour has been on my list for quite a while, this large tube seemed just the right thing to buy. It is a beautiful grey-blue, lovely for dull skies or shadows in the snow for example. I would recommend you try it and play.

One of my favorite greens!
I absolutely love this color. You can go light and get a very light green that looks like spring grass or put it on heavier and have a deep olive color. It granulates with beautiful brown spots as it runs and moves. It’s fantastic for landscapes, giving it a look like trees in the woods or bushes/grasses in a field or off in the distance. It “puts” the brown in there for you. I just love it. Makes it very easy and I can lighten or darken and get 2 totally different looks. I’ll be buying more when this one is low - I can not be without this versatile color!

Buy your main colors here
Buy the best quality watercolor you can afford. Daniel Smith is expensive so I buy one or two when I can afford to. For your basic palette i would recommend these paints
