Head & Shoulders Clinical Strength Shampoo 13.5 oz

I have finally found an OTC product that does what it claims! From the first shampoo, I've gotten great relief from the frustrating itch and red bumps on my scalp. My hair is very long and was incredabley healthy, then one day I started itching and finding bumps on my head. I tried every OTC available, but found nothing that seemed to help. This shampoo relieves the itch and takes care of the bumps. I do find that when I get confidant and use my regular shampoo, the irritation returns. My hair is also oily if I don't wash everyother day. Some reviews I read before my purchase complained of a drying effect on their hair, but I find it balances out my oily scalp. I use a good conditioner on the ends of my hair, up to within a few inches of my scalp, and my hair is waist length, and has natural curls. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to my friends.

This shampoo is perfect for men who have moderate dandruff. My husband has used this for years now, and it's all he will use! It has a light and fresh scent.

I don't have dandruff but have occasional scalp and skin irritation under my beard (bumps.) I always shampoo with this product helps keep them in control. I have been using it for over 5 years and with success.

They should re- market this product. Maybe I'll write to them. Let it sit on your skin for an hour then shower off- once a week.

As someone with tinea versicolor, this is helping to keep the "flare ups" down to a minimum. Not only that, but it actually smells good, which is something I cannot say for Selsun blue.

I have to say this is absolutely fantastic stuff. I used to use the standard H&S products, and tried all their different menthol, lemon, itchy, and greasy versions but they just sort of worked.But this clinical strength stuff really does the job. I have seborrheic dermatitis and suffer On my scalp in random areas. Since using this for about a week; I haven’t had any itchiness or redness. Plus it leaves my hair all soft and fluffy, and it doesn’t go greasy for a long time if left unwashed.It doesn’t smell clinical or like chemicals at all, it has quite a pleasant smell to it, and a small amount does go a long way.It’s a bit pricey, so I’ll alternate between the Head & Shoulders Lemon and this clinical version every couple of days to make it last.I’d definitely give it a go and see how you get on with it. It’s worth it in my opinion.

Although quite expensive I have suffered from seborrheic dermatitis for some time and used many products including prescribed onesThinking you get what you pay for I thought I would give this a go and I am so pleased I didI use this on my hair but particularly on my face which is where the worst of the dermatitis is and it feels better straight after useAlong with exfoliating and a good moisturiser ( I use an aloe Vera based one) my skin is not as red and now in a manageable conditionI can’t recommend this enough for any long suffering seborrheic dermatitis sufferers out there

I have suffered from an extremely dry, itchy, flaky scalp for years. Tried all sorts of medicated shampoos. None worked. Consulted my GP who prescribed moisturising lotions. No good. I suffered years of dreading having my hair cut, scraping my scalp until it was sore beforehand, just to reduce the embarrassment level! I did some research and I was pretty sure my condition was some kind of dermatitis. After reading previous reviews I bought this product in the hope that it would help, if not then £18 wasted wasn't the end of the world in the great scheme of things. Boy was I pleased I did! My scalp felt and looked much better after only the first shampoo. I have now used this product twice a week for five weeks. My scalp is clear and, as an added bonus, my hair is in great condition. I intend to use it once a week in future to see how it goes. Expensive, but worth every penny. 400ml should last a while and I shall definitely buy more when it has all been used.

So I've suffered from seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp for about 3 years. It had got to the point where I'd wake up in the morning with blood under my finger nails from scratching my scalp in the night. I was losing hair from the scratching and my scalp looked AWFUL.I tried many prescription shampoos, tars, steroid oils and I think every anti dandruff and anti fungal shampoo available over the counter and they did help but none would get rid of my constant flakiness and itchiness.I saw this online and decided, well I've got nothing to lose. It is expensive but the bottle is big and it lathers well so you don't have to use too much. It does strip colour and is also really drying, but I use a hair conditioning mask after for 5 mins (one for very dry hair) and it's fine. I'd also rather have faded hair colour than the awful flakiness.I've been using twice a week for 5 months now and honestly can't recommend it enough. Zero itchiness and NO dandruff.

This is pretty much the only thing I’ve found to date that helps my seborrheic dermatitis. It does smell a bit clinical and I’ve noticed my hair now goes greasy quite fast, but I prefer that to the scalp condition
