They are still so tiny and nearly impossible to handle without dropping so work over a towel or tray. These have enough strength to hold together two heavy pieces of cotton watercolor paper for a paper doll project, yet the profile is still low enough that it doesn't intrude on the art. The magnets do have to match up exactly, there is no perimeter magnetic pull like with larger magnets. The included storage container is also a plus.
