Review: Straight, Safe and Accurate - Just a straight edge is very difficult to keep in position when cutting longer lengths, for me it is 3 ply corrugated to wrap the books I sell. Buy large sheets of corrugated is cost effective, but corrugated, even thinner product I am using is quite tough, I have used, rulers, wood also rats to get a clean cut, without going over the same cut. What is required is a straight edge that isn’t chamfered to nothing but a flat edge the blade can sit against, also someway of keeping the cutting edge non-slip, next you need to keep your hand in a safety zone. This metal crafting ruler has all that, I have tested it on my package material and it is a superb ‘bit of kit’. The length is great for my needs, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy longer if needs be. Whatever you would use this ruler for with the features I have mentioned it will be the best you can buy.
