Excellent video quality and very simple to use understand that this camera does not connect to home WiFi but transmits its own WiFi signal so your phone can connect to it and download pictures and videos

We have five of these on our property up in the mountains and use the solar panel attachment to keep the battery charged. We started with one almost a year ago and in that time it has captured wildlife on an almost daily basis. We have so much fun arriving at our property and downloading all the videos our cameras capture. I'd highly recommend the GardePro E8P trail camera - it's worked flawlessly for us

The camera is just fine and functions as it stated but the software is not. I thought I was going to be able to communicated better with the camera. Although it works with my android ok, the time it takes to communicate is very slow even when I am right next to it. The big disappointment came when I found out it won't communicate with my PC. Yes, you can physically connect but I really wanted to do it wirelessly. My PC recognizes it but there is no software allowing me to communicate with the camera. This really needs to be corrected to make it useful. I also though I could use the cell when away but that isn't possible either. Please correct this so it becomes a useful, handy asset.

Upsides: 1.) The camera does a decent job of catching video/pictures. 2.) The battery lasts a *very* long time regardless of cold. Downsides: 1.) It is hard to connect to with an iPhone and takes several minutes each time. 2.) Downloading the videos takes a while and many come out choppy. 3.) Between the spring and summer while it was out on a trail (strapped to a tree, eye height), it got water in the supposedly water resistant insides and is no longer function. 4.) No response from the company about possibly extending the warranty, but it was at 15 months post purchase and they only warranty for one year on Amazon.

Not sure why some people say it doesn’t connect to your Wi-Fi, they DO. I have used them app both with direct connection via blue tooth on my home Wi-Fi, or, via my cell phone remote hot spot. Perfect for my applications and remote property surveillance. So far so good, I have four of them, all Wi-Fi cameras. So far out of the four cameras, only one was having trouble at night. I had my suspicions since I had purchased three prior cams, the fourth arrived with the antenna attached (note, the antennas can fold horizontally of set vertically) and should not be attached when they leave the factory. Also, I fully charge the battery before use, (leaving the factory, they are charged to 60-64%, so just full charge before testing or use. Another thing to look out for is and was a spotlight for perhaps a defective return product, the protective film on one lens was missing. This tells me that someone sent it back and rather than check it out, the seller just sent it back out. Moral of this story, test, test and test your camera before you take it in the field or install it on your property. I test them for one week each, both day and night, photo and video. As such, video quality is excellent. If you install and be sure to (format) the 128gb SD’s and you will get over 28 hours of video, probably more, depending on your settings. Photos are a different story. I found if you set it to 5 shot burst you will most likely than not capture your images at night better as there seems to be a slight delay with the night vision PIR sensors and the camera phot settings. For the money, these are a great value IMHO. Also, on a side note; my research shows almost ALL cameras, no matter the brand, are ALL made in the same factory in Shanghai China. I’m giving it only three stars due to the photo lag time in NV mode, and the disappointment of the seller sending me a returned camera. FYI, the antennas are not shipped attached and come in a little cellophane sleeve, and protective removable film should be affixed to (all) lenses. If not, then you may want to most definitely test before use. Just sayin..,

Very nice trail cam I use it for video capture of wildlife. The features I like best: 1) The lock on the latch keeps people from stealing memory card and batteries 2) Rechargeable battery with GardePro SP300 Solar Panel game changer 3) The wifi works great is slow at times but works very well 4) It also does a great job at taking video and audio

I’ve had this unit for several months and it has been great, up until a few weeks ago where it has stopped recording. I’ve tried everything but it looks like the service/return window has closed. Expensive camera for it to stop recording within the first year. Update 12/26/24: Seller replaced defective camera. Great customer service. Glad they honored it and didn’t give me any hassle. Will buy more cameras.

I have several Gardepro cameras but the bluetooth is a game changer as I can tell if I have new videos without going out to retrieve the memory card. It's a little slow to connect from a distance but worth the effort.

Génial. Je pratique depuis des années avec des caméras "traditionnelles", et la surprise est excellente, à commencer par le prix. Une fois configuré, l'appareil et bien sûr l'appli dédiée sont très simples à uiliser. C'est une avancée incroyable de pouvoir gérer "à distance" (sans avoir à décrocher la caméra et la brancher sur un ordi pour découvrir les résultats.) Tout se fait donc à partir de l'appli qui est limpide (en français !). L'apairage se fait avec un "wifi spécial" qui se connecte en une quinzaine de secondes pour accéder au contenu de la caméra : les images, vidéos ,et bien sûr tous les réglages possibles sont accessibles et très faciles à trouver. Il faut se tenir à moins de 15 m, mais çà marche vraiment très bien ! Ajoutons une fonction "Live" qui permet de vérifier le cadrage de la caméra une fois installée et çà ce n'est pas rien. La gestion des videos/photos se fait très facilement pour faire le tri, et on peut immédiatement exporter les fichiers à partir du smarphone, puis nettoyer tout ce qui est inutile, en quelques instants. La batterie semble tenir très bien, après plusieurs centaines de photos/vidéos elle est encore très bien chargée à 79%. J'ai commandé le panneau solaire de la même marque qui peut encore augmenter la longévité. La batterie se recharge avec un chargeur de téléphone : fini les piles pénibles. A noter que la carte SD ne doit pas être un adapteur avec une micro carte mais un carte "grande", j'ai eu quelques soucis au départ avec çà et le SAV m'a immédiatment répondu, preuve de sa réactivité. A noter que si on a plusieurs caméras de ce type il suffit de leur donner "un petit nom" pour les différencier et l'appli va gérer. La qualité des images n'a rien à envier aux modèles les plus chers, j'ai même été surpris par la qualité du son (activé). Pour faire court : foncez !

Tout à fait satisfaite de mon achat. La caméra m'a permis d'identifier, dès la 1ère nuit d'installation, les animaux qui traversent mon jardin.

Voelt kwaliteitsvol aan, doet wat het belooft. Foto's zijn goed, handige communicatie via Wifi. Klein nadeel: oplaadtijd op 5V via USB zou 16u in beslag nemen.
