Easy to use, worked great.
Worked great in cloning my new Samsung SSD drive. Great product for the price; saved me from spending over $100 on a professional to install the new hard drive.

Does not dissipate Heat well
the unit is nice and simple in its design... but the tightly enclosed space for the drive does not allow for good heat dissipation and because of that the drive will get scalding hot to the touch while it is plugged into a computer.

Easy to assemble and works.
Works as advertised and is easy to assemble and use. Lost 1 star due to the slot inside being machined too wide which allows the ssd to rattle around a little.

Failed after one use
Worked one time, formatted m.2 drive, used once, then stopped working. My drive is fine, tested in another envlosure. Won’t buy again.

quality material, all metal construction, well priced
Tried both 42mm and 80mm drives, work well, got 400+ on write and 450+ on read from a laptop pulled Samsung SATA 256GB M2 drive, that's pretty good. Unit does not generate too much heat either (the metal case definitely helps here) and the unit is priced well.

Does not work with NVMe drive
Doesn't work as stated. Toshiba NVMe ssd is not detected when using this product. Tried it on multiple computers. The enclosure is detected, but the not the hard drive. Pretty useless and will be returning.
