When I received it, I initially thought the wood was "cheap feeling". It reminded me of pencil wood. I think I was expecting something heavier. But then I began to appreciate the fact that perhaps its suppose to be lightweight and not heavy. It is just as described. The band color is true and has a nice tone to it. The blue face IS captivating and a conversation starter. This was a gift to my boyfriend and he LOOOOVED it and received MANY compliments the day he wore it. Its different and no one else will have one. The price point and quality are great. It looks more expensive than it is. You won't be disappointed and if you're buying it for someone neither will they. ### ⭐ Two beautiful, broken watches... *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 15, 2018* Unfortunately, although this is a beautiful watch and my husband loved it (so much that I ordered a second one to replace the first one that broke at his second wearing), I am extremely unhappy with this purchase . The first broke at the pin insertion and there is no way to repair it. The second arrived with the hour hand detached, free-floating under the crystal, and there is no fixing that, either. When I attempted to rate the transaction(s), for some reason the site was blocked. I have not as yet been able to request my refund on TWO un-usable watches. The band survived so I will probably use it on another watch now. I'll just buy another one now, I wore the piss out of it because it's so light that it seemed to just disappear on my wrist, so I think I'm going to chance another one and hopefully be a little more aware so I don't make the same mistake again. I really slammed the s*** out of it to break it anyways. I am dropping one star because I wanted it to last a year before it broke or stop working. If the next one lasts a year it'll go back up! So glad this didn't happen to a more expensive wooden watch!UPDATE: 8/18/18 I have been wearing this watch frequently and often because of how lightweight it is. It still holds time very well and I have had several people comment on how good-looking it is not knowing that it was a sub $40 buy off of Amazon. My only complaint at this point is how the stupid the brand name sounds... I'm guessing it was settled on by a committee that does not speak English, oh well. some people have had really bad luck bit (knock on watch) some come out perfectly fine.
