I took a chance on this off-brand fish tank filter and I’m honestly impressed. It was way more affordable than the name brands and works just as well for my tank. It runs quietly, keeps the water clear, and was super easy to set up. I’ve had no issues so far and would definitely buy again.

I use these for a ten gallon tank with a top fin hang on back filter that uses the small cartridges. The width is a little smaller than then the top fin brand but seems to work fine for me. I’ve been using them now for about two weeks and they’re keeping the water clear. I haven’t changed it out yet and I’ve rinsed it out once so far. These are much cheaper for fifteen of these then the brand name and all you have to do is drop them in.

These filters seem to have much more dense media than other off brands I have tried. I have been extremely impressed by their filtration and durability. Sometimes I rinse a used filter and rotate it back in and these hold up extremely well for that. I use these as a replace for TopFin TP-S filters.

Cheap and fits

The product is effective and produces clear filtration, after required water changes and depending on the brand filter. The quantity and affordability is on point.

This activated carbon filter has transformed my fish tank. The water is now much clearer, and the unpleasant odors disappeared almost immediately. My fish seem more active and happy, and the environment is noticeably healthier for them. Furthermore, the filter is easy to install and maintain, and its compact size fits well in any fish tank. Definitely recommended for anyone who wants clean, safe water without any hassle.

I used the filter for the 2nd time and flushed the poo in the middle of the week like I always did with the regular filters. Yesterday, I rinsed the poo and placed the filter back into the tank. This morning I woke up and my fish was dead. Now, my fish was 13 years old and had been swimming just fine all day and into the evening and it could be that it was just its time to pass on, but I did read in one of the reviews that others had used this filter and their fish died. I didn't notice anything different in the size of the filter or the color of the charcoal, but now feel a bit guilty having bought this off brand filter. If there is something not right with this filter it should be taken off.
