Well pleased with this, no creases or folds, as in some of the reviews. Perfect for demonstrating charcoal life drawing to my class. Beware though, it won’t take the hard Nitram type of compressed batons, I’m using the basic vine charcoal sticks.

Ideal for quick sketching and ideas, paper a little shiny for some mediums but lovely for life drawing etc as its less expensive than cartridge paper

If you're getting into drawing for the first time like me then I can't recommend this enough. This is a great starting point while you get used to the techniques. I wouldn't go spending money on expensive paper because you're probably going to go through a lot of it lol. Make sure you get yourself an A3 drawing board too. It will make the process so much easier. This paper isn't exactly white, so I find a graphite pencil at 4b or darker works best for this paper. You can use regular pencils, but if you're like me and you use the "over hand" technique then you might wanna grab some pencils with darker values than a regular pencil. Other than that, I haven't had any bad experiences with it so far.

Really good product, perfect for my purpose. Please understand though that the colour is what u would expect for newsprint. It is not really white but off white. Probably very slightly greyish. It is good quality though. Don't be put off. It is very durable and good quality. Service was also excellent.

Convenient and sturdy pad. Quality ok. Ink applied bleeds a little.

The paper has a slight tooth, is perfect for charcoal and graphite. It's excellent for quick dynamic studies and is cheap enough so that you can keep drawing page after page.

Good paper to use daily.

Like many reviewers have mentioned, my paper pad had deep creases in the paper that affected a good part of the sheets in the pad. I don't feel that it's cheap enough to warrant these kind of flaws.

Realmente decepcionado. Debí hacer caso de las opiniones que hablaban del defecto. Debe ser un problema en el encolado, todo el bloc con esa doblez de la foto. Edito: Tras hablar con atención al cliente, tramitamos recogida, devolución, reemplazo, ya que no me puedo desplazar para debolverlo. Recibí al día siguiente otro pad, esta vez sí en perfectas condiciones.

Ich besuche derzeit einige Zeichenkurse an der VHS und der Dozent hat für Skizzen empfohlen Newsprintblöcke zu verwenden. Ich als Anfänger empfinde es sehr angenehm darauf zu Zeichnen, dabei verwende ich hauptsächlich Bleistifte. Etwas unangenehm ist, dass die Blätter beim Umblättern sich leicht vom Block lösen, was etwas störend ist, wenn für schnelle Skizzen schnell ein neues Blatt gebraucht wird. Auch sind einige Blätter etwas gewellt. Ein weitaus größeres Problem ist allerdings die schlechte Lieferung. Der Block kam ohne Plastikfolie außenrum in einem großen Karton. Das hat dazu geführt, dass manche Blätter gebogen bzw. geknickt sind. Eigentlich würde ich gerne 3,5 Sterne geben, da das nicht möglich ist und der Block seinen Zweck erfüllt lande ich bei 4 Sternen.
