I absolutely love these flameless candles! They gave my dark romance book party the perfect spooky, cozy atmosphere without having to worry about an open flame. They looked so realistic, and several of my guests thought they were real candles. Now that the party is over, I’ve moved them to my bookshelf, and they look just as amazing as part of my everyday décor. They add the perfect warm glow and make my reading nook feel extra cozy. The remote is super convenient, the timer feature works great, and the different candle heights make for a beautiful display. If you’re decorating for a themed event or just want to add some ambiance to your home, these candles are definitely worth it!

Its coated in actual wax! Which looks matte and classy I just didn't realize, Ill try to be careful with them and not let the cats kick them up. Beautiful lighting though and I love the 2 proximity based remotes- my wife and I can turn off just the ones by us if we want, and it feels like a magic wand lol

I have birds and went years without burning candles because of that, and missed the cozy atmosphere that the glow of candlelight provides. I ran across these a few years ago and they are still going strong. I use Eneloop rechargeable batteries in them and run them on the timer for 4 hours a night, and the batteries last for weeks - not sure exactly how many as I take the batteries out by habit to recharge before they dim out, but at least 3 weeks. I like that you can adjust the brightness and go with either a solid light or a subtle flicker which is pretty realistic. Adding to the realism is the fact that the body of the candles is made with actual wax. So they look great, but that also means they can get damaged like a real wax candle if bumped or dropped, so take the same care you would with a real candle. These provide a wonderful ambiance, and the remote has worked well. I liked them so much that I ended up buying multiple sets. The only con I can think of is that the battery doors have a strong spring and you have to watch how you put them on. Other than that, I have no caveats and would definitely recommend these. UPDATE October 2025 - I'll have had these for 5 years come December, and they are still going strong (as are the Eneloop batteries I'm using in them, some of which are even older). Nice to see the price is still reasonable, too!

Very nice candles. They came well packaged to minimize damage during shipping. They are bright and had additional battery covers in the case of loss or breakage. They come with two remotes. If you have purchased other battery operated candles, you may have a remote that will already work with them. The birch visage is well done. These will work in a home or area that you are trying to bring nature into. A nice variety of sized. A word of caution: since these are made with real wax, be careful to not damage the base. Otherwise you may lose stability.

This is a beautiful set of real wax, flameless LED candles with a remote. I love the fact that the remote allows you to set them for a certain number of hours, a desired brightness, and an option for steady on or candle flicker. One commenter said that the candles all flicker at the same time altogether when on the candle setting. However, I found that, although it does do this when the candle option is first pressed, after a minute or two, they start flickering at varying times and look more natural. Another commenter said they didn’t come packed very well, but I found my packaging very secure, all the candles were in perfect condition and were wrapped with a thin piece of plastic to protect the wax exteriors. Another commenter said that the bottoms fall off, however I found that for the one candle where the bottom would not stay on, the issue was that the spring inside the battery cap was on backwards; I popped the little metal piece out of the bottom using tiny screwdriver, reversed it, and snapped it back into the battery cover and that solved the issue. I have included a picture showing the candles set up in my fireplace. I’m really happy with this purchase, especially as the price was very reasonable and the quality beyond my expectations.

The glow is soft (not harsh or fake-looking), and the flicker makes a huge difference in how realistic they feel. If you want that cozy candle vibe without the hassle, these are 100% worth it.

I would not recommend these unless you have a specific need for what they offer. Quality: 4/5. I purchased the black set. On arrival everything worked. There was one battery cap that was tough to get off due to being broken, but the item did arrive with two extra battery caps (presumably because they know there are sometimes issues). Quality is about what would be expected for the price. Cheap plastic. Issues: The way these produce light is odd. They are good for up lighting which is why you see most people putting them inside a fireplace. They don't produce much light, and the light they do produce only goes up. I found a use for them up lighting curtains, which is actually pretty neat. I wanted to have candles that I could put in sconces, but these won't do the job. They also are pretty skinny. Overall they *could* be worth it if you need them for a very specific purpose. I'll be honest, I bought them on a whim as I was buying other LED candles to try. I probably would not buy these again because I use my fireplace for real fires, and they don't fit most other applications for which you'd use candles. These would be horrible window lights.

These candles were the best purchase! One small problem on my set was the battery + and - were backwards. So just switch them around. Easily remedied. Other than that, I used the candles at Halloween and then I used them at Christmas, same batteries, never had to switch them out. For Christmas, they were in my windows. You can leave the On switch on (I did the entire month, from Thanksgiving weekend until New Years). The candles have a remote, you can set them on a timer, up to 8 hours, and you can make them solid or flicker like an actual candle. And you can adjust the brightness as well. At Halloween they looked very haunting and at Christmas they made the house look warm and inviting. But the coolest part I discovered was that when we set the timer, the next day the candles automatically turned themselves back on and off at the same times and I never had to touch them again the whole month! So we had them set to come on about 4 pm and set the 8 hr timer, and they did it on that schedule the entire month of Dec. I was thrilled with them. They also look realistic. The first time my mom saw them, she thought we'd left real candles burning in our windows while we were away from the house. (Yeah...no mom!) So....other than having to switch the batteries around, these are very wonderful and I highly recommend.

These are BEAUTIFUL!!! Truly the most stunning soft faux wax candles. They look so real. You can adjust the lightness on them too. If you want them dimmer, just lower it on the remote and they also have still mode & flicker mode. They are just stunning. Highly recommend. I love remote control too for easy turn off. 5 stars from me.

Candles did not flicker.

My daughter had this set at her Thanksgiving table and I fell in love. It comes with the remote which amazing features. It has 2, 4, 6, 8 hr timing settings. It also has candle mode which flickers or just light mode without the flickering. It also has dim & bright mode. On/off. They each take 2AA batteries. The candles are wax so they look more real. They also are an ivory colour. The great thing about this set is that it comes with 9 candles so you can split them up if you want in different groupings are have altogether. The price was good for this 9 pce set.
