**Q: Can this be stored for a week before opening? It’s a gift for my sons birthday.**
A: No! Unfortunately I thought the samething for daughter birthday. But when it arrived it had PERISH ON IT. MUST OPEN WHEN ARRIVE

A: It's been a while since I got this, but they are probably just "sleeping".   I'd give them a day or so to see if they start moving around.   If they don't, contact the seller.

**Q: How long until they turn into butterflies?**
A: It varies but this last group took not even two weeks.

**Q: If it’s being delivered how long can the caterpillars sit outside?**
A: It depends on the temperature. They are love caterpillars, so you should try to bring them inside immediately if possible. You will receive a delivery notification.
