My original key fob finally gave up and I replaced it with this. Easy to use, easy to set up, works off a single battery, lightweight strong plastic, I don’t know how many times I’ve dropped it since I bought it, and it still works over and over again! I’m really satisfied with this purchase. Very compatible with my previous key fob and it has that small sleek profile so it doesn’t feel too big when carried around. I would buy these whenever I need a key fob replacement.

I bought my truck with a dead key fob battery. After replacing the battery I realized it would kind of work for a day or so and then stop working all together. So I bought this as a replacement and I’m very happy to say this remote works flawlessly. It programs easily if you follow these steps: Begin with: The driver's door open and unlocked. Key out of the ignition. 1. Insert and remove the key from the ignition switch 2 times within 5 seconds. NOTE: Steps 2 and 3 should be performed within 40 seconds. 2. Close and open driver's door TWICE. 3. Insert the key into the ignition and remove it. (ONE TIME) NOTE: Steps 4 - 6 should be performed within 40 seconds. 4. Close and open the driver's door twice. 5. Insert the key into the ignition. 6. Close the door. 7. Turn the key to “on” (don’t start the engine) and then back off. 8. Pull the key out and the door locks should cycle. 9. Hold both the lock and unlock buttons on the new key fob for 1-1.5 seconds. At this point I didn’t get any response from the door locks, so I tried step 9 again time, and again I didn’t have any response. So I pressed the lock button on the new key fob and it locked! After that everything worked perfectly. The fob even came with a new battery already installed! If you’re having issues after following the instructions above, test the battery with a multimeter. It’s a 3v so it should be reading slightly above that. I believe mine was reading 3.12v when I tested it. If you test the battery and it’s good, but you’re still having troubles, then it might be the key fob. But for me the battery and key fob worked perfect right out of the box.

This product does not come with instructions. There is a website on the packaging that gives a website. Once y the website you are required to enter a credit card. It redirects to a page to sell you other products, but no clear link to programming. AVOID SCAM.

Perfect replacement. Easy to program also.

The product works but the instructions do not include 2013-2015 instructions for Tacoma. Thankfully I found a YouTube video showing how to program the fob.

Been to 4 different vehicle locksmiths no one can program. Simply doesn't work 😔. Still have 4 stars because seller shipped fast and communicated with me. Very inconvenient not having a working FOB (original just quit on me) but also have an old car.
