ARZOPA 16.1'' 144Hz Portable Gaming Monitor 106% sRGB - Z1FC

I bought the Arzopa gaming monitor for use with a machine I use as a server, but I've since found many other uses for it -- in fact, I think I may end up getting a second. The first thing is its value -- at the current price, it's amazingly inexpensive. But I also like fact that it covers 106% sRGB, so shows the full range of colors in a standard web photo (but not HDR or the wide gamut spaces). 1080P is fine for a screen this size, and gamers will appreciate the high refresh rate, though per the manufacturer's web page it doesn't have Freesync. It's very light and super thin. That said, the kickstand is thin plastic, so I don't think I'd subject this to hard use, and it can seem a bit precarious at times (though I've never had it fall over). It's a very clever design, though, since it can be used to hold the monitor horizontally or vertically. Power is by USB, so your laptop should be able to power it -- I use standard brick in other applications, just make sure it puts out enough power to meet the manufacturer's spec. Bottom line, it's a really handy device at a great price. The picture shows one of the many uses I've found for it -- as a monitor for our security system. And that, I think, is it's great advantage -- if I need to troubleshoot the server or need a third monitor for my desktop, I just unplug it and carry it to where I need it.

This thing is an awesome addition to the rog ally x. Looks great, has a yellow filter for late night gaming too. I played cs2 on it and the frames are smooth as my dedicated monitor was. For a size reference, it's like a huge laptop screen. If I can, I avoid playing on the 7 inch screen of the rog ally x unless I'm travelling. Then it makes sense. But hell, now I'll just bring this thing too 😂. Get this if you only have money for a cheaper monitor. This is much better than standalone monitors at this price point, even though it's for sure not a 24" monitor. Added bonus: these are build with different internal components than regular monitors and don't run the risk of the board frying like my last monitor did :( when you get no video signal but you still get power, it's COOKED. this thing though, probably would never happen. As long as you don't abuse this thing, I could see it lasting at least 5 years. So imo, better than a sceptre monitor by a LONG shot. They even included all the possible cables you could need. Super duper happy with this thing

I’ve been using the ARZOPA 16.1” portable monitor and I’m genuinely impressed with it so far. Setup was basically plug and play. I connected it to my laptop and it worked right away without needing to install anything or mess with settings. That alone made it feel very convenient. The screen quality is very good for the price and size. Text looks sharp at 1080p and colors are surprisingly vibrant. It’s not on the level of a high end desktop monitor, but for something portable, it looks clean and easy on the eyes. The 144Hz refresh rate is noticeable, especially when scrolling or doing anything fast paced. Everything feels smoother compared to a standard 60Hz screen. I mainly use it as a second display for work and occasional gaming, and it handles both well. It’s also very lightweight and thin, which makes it easy to move around or pack up. The kickstand works fine and holds its position, although I do wish it felt a little more premium since it’s a bit simple. Overall though, it does exactly what I needed. A portable second screen that is easy to set up, looks good, and performs consistently without issues.

Great display, easy to connect, easy to transport - but beyond fragile. Compatible with most modern laptops. Stand is ok, but gets in way. Wish the ports were on both sides, but cord long enough to wrap around. Had in padded computer bag which fell from 4 foot table onto floor - no longer works. Will be buying replacement since my fault but also buying a roll of bubble wrap since the smallest knock breaks it. Would strongly recommend getting a padded case if purchasing - does not come with case

Bought this to take to the station with me on long shifts. The speakers aren’t super loud but they are audible. It was pretty much plug and play. The only thing is it wouldn’t work with a standard plug I had to get one made for a laptop. It feels very rugged and sturdy when holding and pushing buttons. The 16 inch screen is a decent size especially if you’re looking for something to travel with. It works great with my Xbox and seems to be compatible and versatile with my laptop as well. All around I’m very pleased with the quality especially for the price

Let me start out by saying the build quality is phenomenal. The packaging makes it feel like you just dropped at least $300 on this thing. The lightweight build is actually lightweight, the screen is bright and vibrant, the bezels are small, and the device itself is incredibly thin. I'll preface this with one thing- you need need need to get a Viture USB-C adapter with power delivery (yes the one for the XR Glasses) or something similar. It's not required, the screen can work with just power delivery from the device itself- but you'll be sorely missing out. A USB-C adapter with power delivery allows you to take full advantage of the monitors capabilities without sacrificing display features on your PC or console itself ROG Ally connected with the adapter: 1080p 144hz or 120hz w/ FreeSync Variable Refresh rate and HDR in full 30W power mode with the official ROG Ally AC adapter. Just make sure you turn on FreeSync in the monitor's OSD and HDR if you want it. With the Switch: 1. A Nintendo Switch Dock is required if you don't have a USB-C adapter with power delivery 2. I had to turn off the Switch TV power mode settings because this locks the switch if the screen turns off- and it might as you attempt to connect it 3. The connection didn't work at first (at least for me) unless I set the Switch TV Settings resolution mode to 480p before connecting- then switched it back to 1080p once on the screen was visible- BUT 4. Once it works it works! No compromises. Even with the standard Nintendo Switch 5W AC adapter 5. If you don't like that you need the AC adapter I believe you'll just need to find a portable battery with decent hi wattage power delivery. I've read the 20000mah Anker works- I̶'̶l̶l̶ ̶t̶e̶s̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶u̶p̶d̶a̶t̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶r̶e̶v̶i̶e̶w̶ ̶o̶n̶c̶e̶ ̶I̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶f̶i̶r̶m̶.̶ Can confirm- Anker 20000mah Power bank works! Without an adapter you can still use the screen (not the Switch)- but there will be limitations. I have not thoroughly tested it with the ROG Ally or a different Windows PC but I imagine that if you push the screen too much without some form of external power source it will likely disconnect. This should be expected. The thing is- you'll always need some form of adapter for the devices you connect if they don't have a discrete HDMI out or video out- otherwise you're just draining your laptops battery. It's worth the investment. Other features: Audio - Speakers are nothing to write home about but they get the job done and I'm more than appreciative of that HDR - Again, nothing special- but it does work fine. I'm not super keen on knowing what to look for between SDR and HDR but it does get the job done. 4K / 2K Downscaling - This monitor can support up to 4K resolutions, but downscaled to 1080p. It's great for something like a PS5 or Xbox- consoles that I've found to actually lower graphics settings in some games simply for using 1080p. A good example is Assassins Creed Odyssey, which looks loads better when your console is set to 4K. Refresh Rate - It's no joke. For the first time I can be competitive in Halo Infinite on my ROG Ally. Between free sync and 120hz/144hz picture quality matches my Samsung Odyssey G9. (Side note... would be neat to have an 32:9 portable monitor but I can't imagine that would work without the screen being some sort of foldable) Stand - I read a lot of reviews before purchasing and they must have redone the stand design because it this recent model (As of 3.31.2024) is super sturdy. No separate kick stand you have to carry around- it comes with a long arm that allows you reposition the screen easily depending on the height of the surface the monitor is relative to your eye level. Cables - Includes a USB-C to USB-C cable, a USB Type-A to USB-C cable (which I've yet to test), and an HDMI to Mini-HDMI cable. I simply use the USB-C to C cable while connected the Viture USB-C adapter. Warranty - 1 year and can be extended to 2 year with a full refund if issues encountered within 30 days of purchase. If I do have problems I'll update here if the warranty process is a pain. Cons: Honestly- none so far. It does not have a cover so you'll want to order the Arzopa sleeve since the screen is otherwise unprotected. But that's on discount if you purchase the monitor so you can save $4. Overall, this monitor is badass. I will update this review if the device fails or I find issues worth noting. 5 out of 5 stars

The screen is nice and large great for playing games or watching videos. The color is very good also, I usually use it at night and I think the brightness is good almost too bright if there's a lot of white on the screen but is easily adjustable with the side buttons going into the menu and adjusting it. Having a high refresh rate of 144Hz is awesome all my games look super smooth. I didn't think I would like the stand but it actually works pretty well. It's super light weight and portable so it's easy to carry , take with you, or light enough to be used on a scissor arm with a large tablet holder. The casing is aluminum I believe and the screen is a nice middle ground between matte and glossy. There is not much I can say bad about this portable monitor, the only thing I don't like would be that the aspect ratio is either stretch or 4:3 , which I kinda found annoying when I was watching Crunchyroll since it looked like it had the slightest bit of stretch. But overall its a great monitor and I do enjoy using it a lot. Games look perfectly fine and has vibrant colors Why did you pick this product vs others?: The price was really good for its features and had a lot of good reviews, it was tough finding a good portable monitor that was 120Hz+ that was under $100 (I picked it up for $94-95 I think) I primarily use it for gaming which it does a great job at.

So far so good! I’ve enjoyed this monitor as a smaller monitor under my main one for small tasks such as discord or spotify. Downside to the monitor are the cable lengths, I realize it was more geared towards laptops and lengthy cables would be obnoxious but for my setup I could have definitely used something longer. The picture is nice and the refresh rate is quick, definitely an easy adjustment going from the larger to the smaller monitor. Overall it’s worth the investment as it does what it’s supposed to: it displays the image and it does it well. I would like to mention the portability aspect as well. I like to help build PC’s and being able to transport a monitor with ease is super helpful. I included a picture of a build I’m currently working on and the portability was super helpful in this case. Definitely would recommend to others

O produto é muito, mas o alto-falante do monitor deixou muita a desejar ao ponto de ser inutilizado.

I’m very happy with this ARZOPA 16.1" portable monitor. The screen size is larger than most portable monitors, which makes a big difference for productivity and gaming. The 1080p resolution looks sharp, and the display is impressively bright with vivid colors. Everything looks crisp and easy on the eyes. The price is excellent for what you get, especially considering the 144Hz refresh rate and the overall image quality. It feels like a premium monitor without the premium cost. The only extra step for me was purchasing a mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter for my workstation. Once connected, the monitor worked perfectly with no setup issues, flickering, or compatibility problems. Overall, this is a fantastic portable monitor if you want a large screen, sharp image, and great value for the price. Highly recommended.
