I previously had one of the firm heatless curlers. For me, this is such an improvement! It gives beautiful, defined curls while tying up neatly out of the way in a cute headband. The cuteness is a real plus for me, as I wouldn't be embarrassed to answer the door wearing it versus some other types! This is flatter and squishier than the other type, which makes it comfier to sleep on (it will still take some getting used to if you've never used any before). It came with a nice silk bag and all of the advertised accessories. I particularly like the smaller bands for securing the hair.Photos attached show how my hair looked immediately after I removed it in the morning. These things will always generate a bit of frizz from friction if you move in your sleep and don't use a silk protector or pillowcase, but its nothing a bit of styling can't fix. Also, I prefer the method where you use two alternating strands of hair in more of a french plait-type method, as I feel the "standard" method that is usually recommended leaves the back looking flat.

I don't know how it could be better. Silk might be better for hair but it would probably slip more. The inside could be a slightly firmer foam so the hair can roll around but in saying that.. It wraps and ties pretty well. It's never undone while sleeping, it keeps my hair our of my way and stops me from sleeping /lying on my hair and thus prevents breakages and knotted frizzy hair. My hair maintains a beautiful curl.Will keep wearing it in bed and will take it while travelling or trains or planes

Great product ! Easy to use and great that it attaches on the top of your head. Comfortable to sleep in and stays in place until the next day. Curls are great.
