. how long are the pants

My pants have been washed several times. I measured from the top of the waist elastic to the bottom of the leg and it was 41" long. I measured the inseam (from the crotch to the bottom of the leg) it was 29" long.

Does it have a fly - button or zipper, or not? One review says yes, one says no!?

There is no button, zipper, or fly. It is a Draw String like you would see on most sweat pants. I have a few pairs of these and the material is light and thin. The issue I have seen with the draw string is if you pull the strings to the side to tighten you can rip the fabric. You need to make sure you cross the strings and pull to the opposite side to tighten. Also, the string are nice they are more like cotton rope, they are white too even on the black pants.

What is the leg length on the on the large size?

I have the XL size. Inseam is 30.5 inches. But at each cuff there's a cord that you can pull tight and tie to make them fit any shorter legs.

Are these breathable linen beach pants?

Yes, they're very breathable, but they're 100 percent Cotton, not linen. The material is a bit roughly woven, so it's not a soft and smooth feel; but I like them for cooling off after a day at work in Southern California.
