Great Gift Addition! Arrived Fast!
I am writing a review on these pick strips because I was hesitant to buy them because there were no reviews. I bought my nephew the Pick-a-Palooza about a month ago. He plays guitar and loves it. But the picks made with the old cards he had around did not hold up very well, didn’t even last a set before they crumbled. I saw these when I got the Pick-a-Palooza but did not buy them. After the other picks did not last, I decided to give these a chance. In short, they are perfect. It is the same material you find in real picks and they work great. The colors are very nice, much better than the pictures show. My nephew loves the picks they make. Anyway, I can definitely recommend these strips and will buy more once he loses all the picks they make. They also arrived in ONE DAY!!! It was really fast.

These Pick Strips Rock!
Ordered these to go along with the Pick-a-Palooza I gave to my son for his birthday. The strips are really beautiful colors with a pearl sheen to them. With the Pick-a-Palooza Guitar Pick Strips there's no need to buy those expensive picks anymore. The Pick Maker Material is high quality. Picks come out perfect every time. My son loves these and say's the pick's feel good and work great and every single pick he's made has perfectly smooth edges. This is definitely quality pick material and a quality product. Another 5 star review for Equipt4!

Pick Strips for the Pick-a-Palooza
I ordered these to go with the Pick-a-Palooza I purchased. The strips are beautiful. The vibrant colors of the strips are very pleasing to the eye. When used with the Pick-a-Palooza, I got smooth, uniform guitar picks. I didn't notice and burrs or rough spots on the edges of the pick. The thickness is perfect for my needs. You can get approx 4 picks per strip, with 15 strips ( 3 of each color) per package. This gives me 60 picks per package. The price per pick is also very reasonable. We don't live close to any music stores so having the ability to make extra picks is wonderful! They also make wonderful, unusual (and useable) gifts! I highly recommend this item.

Plectrum Punching Bonanza
Although this is probably age telling, I picked up the guitar roughly 34 years ago. As I matured into my teens, I used to grab fists full of guitar picks in the local music store whenever I visited the mall. I literally had thousands of picks in different shapes (lots of 351's and 355's) and designs. Mostly, I grabbed the medium & heavy gauges. But...after so many years and not so many visits to malls, I found myself down to one rainbow heavy gauged Pickboy and one blue heavy gauged Fender pick. I have no damn clue where the Pickboy one went off to now. Personally, when I'm playing, I usually opt for the medium gauge picks on the heavier side, but it really depends on the mood I'm in to what I play. I considered purchasing lots of different picks from different manufactures, but as you people probably already know, it's hard to decide with all the different options out there. While I was looking, I noticed the different "pick punch" models and how they had come down in price in the last few years. To compliment the plectrum puncher I decided to purchase, I decided to get this. Why? More than likely because I always loved the blue pearloid color. Besides, it also got me free shipping when added to the punch which is always a plus. While I can't really say much about the selection of thicknesses in the pack as my stupid digital caliper needs a new battery, I can say that the picks punched with it are fairly flexible which make them ideal for alternate picking. If you are a person who wants a less flexible pick there is always some nice clear gel glue out there to double or triple the thickness (heavy - super heavy) by stacking picks and you can always take some wet/dry sandpaper or your girlfriend's nail file (don't blame me if you get caught) or emery board to give the picks some texture to grip. Hell, experiment and enjoy yourself because you can always make more. Now, to come to the price/value part of the review. I would have rather paid closer to fifteen for the pack, but you have to remember that it's pre-cut to make it easier to punch and it's all selected for you to have a variety of different colors. As to that end, it makes an excellent starter pack to experiment with and I would highly recommend it for that. And yes, you can only get four picks out of the ones with pre-printed graphics, but I managed to get 6 out of the plain strips by using the punch upside down so I could eyeball exactly where I was punching. I also alternated sides when I punched. To summarize, it's a hell of a starter pack and I highly recommend it to someone that wants to see what they can really do with a pick punch.

Love these strips !
I have received my Pick Packs, and love them. The only suggestion I might offer is that the customer gets to choose whether they want the glossy or the matte strips, and then could get 20 truly different patterns, vs a glossy and a matte in 10. Otherwise, I just love them, good quality, love the colors, and the thickness is just right for my playing preference.
