Fantastic. Amazing! Great learning book.
My wife bought this book for my son as a summer learning book before he starts school. We've worked on letters, shapes numbers and such but he was never interested. This book has changed the game. His favorite movie and games are star wars. He now asks if he can do "school work" because he loves the pictures and how interactive the book is. He struggled with recognizing letters and writing his name and now he's going back through the book to make sure he knows and can recognize his letters. This book has been a game changer. We can't wait to order the ones for kindergarten all the way through second grade!

Perfect Learning Tool for the Star Wars Loving Little One
I've tried every kind of app, game, and alphabet toy to try to get my son with autism interested in letters, but nothing worked -- until I stumbled upon this Star Wars Preschool ABC Fun workbook. Admittedly, he is obsessed with all things Star Wars, so this book appealed to his interests. If your little one isn't so fond of the Force, you might not have as much luck teaching them their ABC-3P0s.Overall, the quality of the book is good. It's held up to daily use from not-so-gentle hands. The included finger puppets are familiar characters in the workbook and have worked great as an incentive to learn. The learning exercises and games are fun -- exactly what I would expect from BrainQuest -- a brand I'm familiar with from when I was growing up.My son received this book only knowing a handful of letters. Now he confidently goes through and identifies both uppercase and lowercase letters with ease. After having such success with this workbook, I plan on ordering the full line of Star Wars BrainQuest books to help him continue his learning journey. I'm happy to have found something my special needs guy enjoys and helps him learn -- that's a win-win any way you look at it.

Entertaining and Educational - Buy It for Your Toddler Star Wars Fan
My recently-turned four-year-old son LOVES this workbook. He is at the point where he knows all his letters and their sounds, so he loves being able to trace each capital and lowercase on the pages of this book. Being Star Wars-focused motivates him to complete several pages at a time, which is atypical for him. Of course, this is the kid who runs around in a storm trooper costume and has light saber duels on a daily basis. (He usually skips around and does a page here and there in other workbooks.) Because these books have SO many pages, he will not be done with it any time soon. I have even learned the names of some of the strange Star Wars creatures, too! I also love that my son can figure out what to do on most pages without my specific guidance. As a Texas certified reading specialist, I always look for things that make reading fun for little kids, and this book definitely qualifies. It is a MUST for any little Star Wars fan who is gaining phonemic awareness.

Motivating, But Terminology Tough for Pre-K
This is my least favorite of the Star Wars preschool workbooks. My four-year-old loves the pictures (which are really cute) and it hits some important skills (tracing letters, writing letters, etc.). However, unfortunately, Star Wars' characters' names and items don't really lend themselves to early phonics or recognition of first letters in words. Not being a Star Wars buff, I couldn't pronounce some of the more obscure character names myself, much less help my child understand how the starting letters related to them. Also, some pages require kiddos to match letters to the item that corresponds and, again, with such obscure names, the purpose of the activity gets lost in translation. If your preschooler has seen all of the Star Wars movies and knows every term, this might be okay, but I think more basic verbiage would be better suited to most early phonics learners.

Really fun for kids and very educational!
This is a great tool for learning! My son is 4 and in Pre-K, so he is just learning how to write his letters. This is a great book to use for practicing at home. It has letters to trace, characters who have names starting with those letters, etc. One part that is really cool is there will be a letter at the top of a page, and then about ten letters listed below it. You have to go through and circle all the letters that match the letter at the top of the page. Sounds like no big deal, but it is fun and educational for a 4-5 year old.The book is FULL of exercises and makes learning fun. My son thinks that using this book is a treat, not a chore :)

Fun book as a review
I am teaching my grandson the alphabet from the beginning. This is great for Star Wars fans but I've found it is not as easy as it would be if I had a simple book that said A for Apple, instead of A for Anakin. My 5yo grandson does not know all the names of the characters and that makes it a little more difficult. I still like this and its good as a review.

Star-wars themed, age appropriate; could be more
Good, Star-wars themed, age appropriate exercises for my 4-year-old. He was excited to get started. Only 4 stars because the exercises are repetitive, he loses interest after a few pages.

Great workbook for kids who hate learning
Great quality workbook! My preschooler who hates doing anything school related liked this workbook because of the starwars theme throughout the book. Great pictures and easy to follow. I wish it was a write and wipe type book though as it's better for practice than paper. Overall good product and would purchase again.

Lots of fun for little ones
This book has a bit of everything for the Star Wars fan. Even if they don't know the story or all of the characters they can learn them and it is fun.
