Truelite Industrial Vintage Pendant Light Silver&Gray Metal Globe Downlight Chandelier

Pretty light fixture. Easy install. But I could not get my wire to come thru to make it shorter. I know it can be done. It’s 90 degrees outside and i didn’t have time to deal with it. Lol.. Directions are not great. This comes with 2 nuts. Remove those nuts from the screw. Put the light up and the light base plate then put those nuts on and then add the little caps they give you. Add those right next to the nuts. If not the screw will be too long and you will not be able to get the base plate to attach to your ceiling without a large gap. That tiny step would of saved me a lot of time. Would of been mice if deirevtions would have mentioned that.

Beautiful fixture. Pair with an "Edison Squirrel Cage" bulb, and you have a work of art. Be warned, the 1 page of instructions to this is spectacularly horrible. The long screws on the base plate (the ones with nuts) are the ones that will stick through the mount plate to attach the decorative nuts to (the nuts will self tighten as you turn them). The screws in the bag with the wire connectors are the ones that will go upwards through the plate into your junction box. You do not need to use the ground screw, as there is a green ground wire (from lamp) to connect to your ground wire in ceiling (bare copper, or green). Black to black. White to white. Mine happens to have a dimmer switch at the wall, which allows you to dim the Edison bulb to the point where the antique filament really shows beautifully. Also, there is invisible tape around the rings you'll have to cut to get them to spread. Hope this helps!

I wanted to replace the can light above my kitchen sink with this pendant light. I had to buy a recessed lighting converter kit from Home Depot in order to install this light. I also had to buy a ceiling medallion to cover the extra space between ceiling piece that came with the pendant and to cover the can light hole. And had to buy Edison lightbulbs. I liked the price of this in addition to the style. But wasn’t expecting the extra $40+ I had to spend to get it installed and working

Product was ALMOST perfect.As far as cosmetics this should get 5 stars! It looks exactly how we wanted it to and is perfect hanging above our sink!The functionality is exactly what you would expect it to be, which is wonderful. It puts out just enough light with the vintage style Edison bulb that we ordered separately.The thing that is taking it down to 4 stars is that whoever manufactured this make the screws too long for the install of the bracket. So a 5-10 minute job turned into an hour job because of troubleshooting and more troubleshooting. The screws on the bracket were too long for the cover to fit, so it left a huge gap between the ceiling and the cover. I finally had to grind off about a 1/2" from each screw so that everything would fit right.

Gave this as gift for a friend. It looks beautiful. Hers is hanging over a staircase leading to her basement from the living room. Dramatic, eye catching. Like a piece of art. And it definitely provides enough light to illuminate the whole area.

I love this light fixture! It goes perfectly in our entryway! Make sure to screw the light where you want the bars to be placed around the bulb. Comes dissembled from the mail.
