This is my favorite hair conditioner. It repairs my flat iron, colored hair. This hair conditioner has a lovely scent as well.

I’ve never tried a protein mask before—I’ve only ever tried moisturizing type of masks, like the raw sugar avocado mask. The first photo was before my trim, and before I had bought this mask, or curl talk defined shampoo/conditioner/leave-in conditioner. And that combo has been really bringing back my curl pattern more defined. I use the mask once every week—so every Tuesday & leave it in for about 15-20 mins. And the second photo is how’s it’s been going for the passed two weeks now; there’s more bounce, shine and overall softness too, I’m so happy with this. It doesn’t leave it feeling weighed down either, just make sure to rinse thoroughly! Breakdown hair routine: First use the curl talk shampoo, then put this protein mask through the middle to ends—let it sit for 15 mins, then follow with the curl talk conditioner, and leave-in.

This hair conditioner is amazing !!!! A few years ago my daughters hair was in a very bad place and once she started using it we couldn't stop ! It is so effective on her hair and keeps it less tangly , not oily (or dry !) and produces a sleek look and soft feel ! I would love if they could drop the price a little because she goes through it fast and now we are looking for cheaper but similar brands but nothing yet had matched this !!!!!!!!

This might be my favorite Shea Moisture product and definitely my favorite hair mask from them. I have tried a few of their other masks and I was not impressed so I was not expecting much with this one but it blew me away. ABOUT MY HAIR: I have type 3a and 3c hair. My hair is low porosity. It is shoulder length and it is very fine. My main problems are moisture, frizz, volume and lately definition. MY HAIR PROBLEM: I had tried to revive the definition of my hair. My hair was very limp and stringy. Also, certain products made my hair stiff and dry. I was struggling. REVIEW: I felt in like the first time I used it. My hair felt soft and moisturized. I did not transform my hair or anything but there was a definite difference. My hair was more alive and it gave me hope. After a few more uses, it gave my hair more definition and I was able to wear my hair out more. It was a great step toward the recovery of my hair. I finished it and my hair looks so much better and I would most definitely repurchase in the future.

I wasn't sure about this hair mask, but I was pleasantly surprised. My hair went from dry and brittle to soft and smooth. It's definitely worth it.

It does smell nice and is very thick, but the reviews from the parent website are true. Many of them said that this product may deep condition and may leave your hair feeling soft if you blow dry it, but you will still need to use a conditioner afterward to make your hair feel moisturized. I have 3b hair. It may be designed for type 4 curls and that’s why it’s didn’t work for me. I have use other deep masques and they left my hair so silky straight after without other products. This product is also only 8oz vs the average 10oz size.
