Best Henna powder on the market because it includes amla and all the other nutrients that transform your scalp and hair. PLEASE READ!!! What I don’t understand is the misinformation in the instructions provided not just by this brand but by just about every other Henna brand out there, resulting in people getting frustrated because they’re not seeing the results promised. Here’s the real deal if you want results: NO - You do NOT mix henna right out of the box and then apply it to your hair and expect results. Henna has to be processed in a glass or plastic container for 6-8 hours or preferably overnight. You will know it’s done processing when the color of the Henna mixture turns brownish and touching it will turn your fingers orange/red. Then proceed with applying it to clean hair (dry or wet) and leave it on for at least an hour for orange tone (appropriate if your next step is indigo for black or brown hair) or leave it for 3-4 hours if you are going for a deep red shade (the red head look). If you are going for the brown/black hair, after you rinse off the henna, mix indigo with distilled water and immediately apply to hair (1 hour for brown hair, two hours for jet black hair). I really hope this helps those that are on their natural journey to hair care as it took me well over a year to figure all this out and lots of frustration.

After 20 years of using other brands of henna I have found this to be the best. No clumps, easy to apply, the color is gorgeous and no gritty feeling after rinsing. I look forward to applying this product for as long as possible.

It worked well but I followed the directions on the Internet and added an Amla product and mixed it in and used a cooled black tea instead of plain water.

Its not as great as other mehndi colors that I have used. ok - the color is not as strong and its too much on the light brown side.

This first step (reddish henna) covered my gray hair really well. After washing it out I dyed using another brand (soft black). When I was done I went back to Amazon to buy the indigo which I should’ve bought in the first place. I will buy Indus Valley again in the future. No itchiness nor any other allergic effects at all.

Very very effective product, for better result, apply with a pretrated your hair with henna, idigo dissolved with lukewarm water with a pinch of salt and tobe used with in 10 minites, may be you will not get immediate result, atkeast one to take the hair get fully oxidised, i used the same way and repeated after 5 days, the result is awesome❤️❤️❤️
