I am so happy I bought this 8-piece chef mixing bowl set. It has quickly become one of the most-used items in my kitchen because it’s so functional, high quality, and thoughtfully designed. The variety of bowl sizes is perfect — I use them for everything from meal prep and baking to mixing sauces, serving salads, and storing leftovers. One of my favorite features is the airtight lids. They fit securely and make it so easy to prep food ahead of time or save leftovers without constantly reaching for plastic wrap. Everything stays fresh, and I love being able to go straight from mixing to storing in the same bowl. The silicone bottoms are another huge plus. The bowls actually stay in place while mixing, which makes cooking and baking so much easier and less messy. No sliding around the counter while whisking or stirring, which I didn’t realize I needed until I had these. The stainless steel itself feels durable and high-end without being too heavy, and the bowls nest nicely together for storage, which saves a ton of cabinet space. They also look sleek and professional in the kitchen. Overall, this set feels like one of those kitchen purchases that makes everyday cooking more enjoyable and efficient. Update 05/21/2026 - These bowls are true workhorses in my kitchen, the BEST bowls I have ever owned! I especially like the durable silicone bottoms, which provide sturdy, non-slip placement on the counter, refrigerator, or table. I use them so much I ordered a second set. Picture of homemade chicken vegetable soup made yesterday. === Original Review: I love to cook and bake, and have been looking for a set of stainless steel bowl with silicone lids that I count use for both general kitchen use, and storing food in the refrigerator. This set of 5 bowls and lids from Umite exceeded all of my expectations. Incredibly pleased with this purchase! - This is actually a 10 piece plus set: 5 durable stainless steel bowls, 5 durable airtight silicone lids, plus 3 grating lid inserts that can be used with the 4 qt bowl. - The bowl sizes (1.5 to 5 quart) are useful for both mixing, serving, and refrigerator storage. - The silicone lids are airtight. I recommend running your fingers around the entire lid area to make sure it is tight on the bowl. I really appreciate that the lids do not completely lip over the bowl, as that lid design can be a frustration to remove. - The 3 grating inserts that fit with the 4 qt bowl are easy to use. - The silicone base of the bowls provides non-slip, sturdy use on the countertop and refrigerator. - Cleaning: I recommend hand washing both the bowls and silicone lids. Using a dishwashing machine with more caustic detergent and hotter water/heat drying heat can damage both the bowls and the lids. - Storage: I recommend being certain the bowls are completely dry before nestling in place for storage. I place a square of paper towel between each bowl (see photo), just in case there is a drop or 2 of rinse water left on the bowl. - Photo shows homemade sourdough dinner roll dough in the 3.5 quart bowl before placing the lid on and placing in refrigerator for a cold bulk fermentation. The rolls turned out great! This set is a terrific value, and will last a very long time. I highly recommend this product.
