Review: Some recipes on the wrong page - Recipes look good. Food I would actually make and eat. Some books are a little too esoteric. The only problem is the book itself. The chapter 4 index does not show the correct pages for the recipes. Tasty Beef Brisket is listed on page 52 in the index but is on page 55 for example. Not really a big deal since all the recipes are there, just on different pages. I wouldn't ding the author for a publishing mistake. Chapter 4 is the only one with this problem. The book's introduction to the double oven is good with a detailed description of its functions. All in all, I expect to be happy with this book. b

Overall Good Double Oven Recipe Book
Know up front there are no photos, small print, and Chapter 4 (Beef, Pork, Lamb recipes) table of contents has five page numbers wrong! Author suggests preheating the racks and sheet pans before you insert food, so no time or energy will be wasted bringing them up to the preset heat level desired once you put the food in the oven. However, Ninja manual that came with the oven says do *not* have the racks and sheet pans inside the oven while preheating, no reason given. Suit yourself. I found many delightful recipes in this book, which offers 1000 recipes to choose from. Instructions are clear and designed specifically for the Ninja Double Oven.

Well written of beginners
The cover has the only color recipes. The cover also has a very misleading circle around a 1000 day recipes. That means 88 pages times 3 recipes per page average comes close to 1000? Some of the recipes call for "swerve" or swerve sugar. I haven't actually tried to make any of these recipes, but I can tell that the words used are for beginners. On the good side, all recipes include a per serving list of calories, fat, sodium, Carbs, fiber, sugar, and protein, if those descriptions are important. She usually uses all the oven controls in her directions, EXCEPT the internal meat temperature probe when cooking roasts. The "Prep" Time, Cook Time, "Serves" #, is in each recipe. The ingredients lists are surrounded by a "recipe card shape". Most recipes would appeal to a weight watcher, if you watch what you eat and more people than not do. For only a few more dollars you could have purchased the "Cooks Country TV Show Cookbook", which has some color pages and is very thorough. Bertha Zimmer, the author is very complimentary of the Ninja Food Double oven. I mostly use it for raisin toast.

Good cookbook for small oven
When my wall oven died, I didn't want to spend a fortune on a new one so I bought the Ninja Double oven. This cookbook has recipes that are written and adapted for it. The recipes are easy to make and delicious.

Ninja foodie double oven cookbook
Great recipes and helpful tips for the Ninja double oven…includes how to program the double oven for your recipes. The recipes are great…I have made some different recipes so far….like baked turkey breast, with veggies. The pages are on newsprint, not really strong paper, so I was a little disappointed with that. But, I’m very happy to have a Ninja double oven learning resource.

Worst recipe index, unclear pictures
This is the most frustrating cookbook. Finding a recipe using the index is almost impossible because the title of the recipe is not listed by the main ingredients. Recipes are listed under description such as ‘spicy’, ‘easy’, ‘Yummy’, etc. There are few pictures in the book and pictures are black and white, not labeled so it is difficult to recognize what recipe the picture relates to.
