Cosmetics Glossy Lip Stain, Lightweight, Long-Wear Lip Stain For A Sheer Pop Of Colour & Subtle Gloss Effect, Basic Beige

Ich hab sehr trockene Lippen, die bisher mit nichts außer Vaseline zufrieden zu stellen waren. Lippenstifte und -glosse div. Marken, Lip Stains zum Abziehen, Lipliner, Pflegestifte - alles 'ne pure Katastrophe für mich. Dieses Produkt hier wurde mir von meiner besten Freundin empfohlen und wirkt pflegender auf meine Lippen, als jedes sonstige Lippenprodukt, was ich bisher ausprobiert habe! Zu der Haltbarkeit der Farbe auf den Lippen kann ich gar nicht so viel sagen, weil ich immer vergesse, darauf zu achten. Allerdings schmiere ich mir Spicy Sienna gern Abends nach dem Zähneputzen auf die Lippen, um morgens eine natürliche Röte zu haben und frische diese dann mit Basic Beige auf. Müsste ich einen allgemeinen Schätzwert der Farb-Haltbarkeit abgeben, bei normaler Nutzung (also Essen, Trinken etc.), würde ich von etwa 3-5 Stunden ausgehen. Außerdem färbt das Produkt nach kurzer "Einwirkzeit" nicht mehr ab, weder beim Küssen, noch auf Gläsern. Auch an Servietten konnte ich bislang keine Farbreste feststellen. Es nutzt sich gleichmäßig ab, hinterlässt keine "Farbkrümel" oder komische Streifen (wie gesagt, hab sehr trockene Lippen und ganz miese Erfahrungen gesammelt!) Außerdem klebt das Zeug nicht so widerlich, wie andere Produkte! Meine Lippen bleiben nach der Nutzung über mehrere Stunden schön weich, was ich bisher wirklich nur mit Vaseline hin bekommen hab. 👀 Die beiden Farben, die ich bisher getestet habe, sind Basic Beige und Spicy Sienna, weitere werden definitiv folgen. Basic Beige gibt meinen recht farblosen, leicht rosanen Lippen einen ganz natürlichen, gesunden Ton, der zu meinem eher gelbichen Teint gut passt. Spicy Sienna eignet sich eher, wenn ich die Lippen rötlich betonen will oder, wie oben erwähnt, als abendliche "Vorsorge". 😂 Es ist kein Knallrot, aber ich würde es farblich als klassischen Rotton definieren. Gefällt mir an mir selbst eher nicht so gut (ich wirke damit ein wenig altbacken, aber das ist reine Geschmackssache!) Kann das Produkt auf jeden Fall empfehlen!

Un gloss qui ne tient pas beaucoup, je ne l’utilise presque pas

super affordable makeup product, looks great on tan mixed skin, hydrates my lips like mad and its super appropriate. there is quite a lot of product, when you think its finished (its not) take of stopper (plastic thing around it when you open it) carefully like make sure you wear glasses because tiny sharp plastic can flick into your eye and it can be risky, its super easy to use, the application top thingy feels nice on lips, its such a nice size not to small, and the packaging is so cool, it smells like cherries, idk maybe im imagining it but it tastes super nice, lasts long, and I need to purchase again.

This is my second time ordering the ELF Glossy Lip Stain in Basic Beige, and while I absolutely loved the first one, this repeat order left me disappointed. As you can see from the attached photos, both tubes are labelled Basic Beige, but the shades are completely different. One is a deeper, richer nude; the other is significantly lighter and looks very different on the lips. I’ve included comparison swatches and lip shots for reference. I’m not sure if this is due to batch inconsistencies or a packaging error, but it’s a huge letdown when you expect a repurchase to match the original. That said, the formula is still lovely — lightweight, non-sticky, and hydrating. It gives a subtle tint even after the gloss wears off, although it doesn’t hold up to food or drink. You will need to reapply a few times throughout the day, so don’t expect an all-day stain. Also, the tube is quite small — my first one lasted only about 3–4 weeks with regular use. I really wish ELF offered a larger size. Bottom line: If you get the right shade, this gloss-stain hybrid is gorgeous. But the inconsistency in colour makes me hesitant to reorder again. 3 stars from me — formula is great, but quality control needs work.
