When my beloved Dremel Lite finally gave up the ghost (the spindle became unseated making it impossible to keep it true), I wanted to replace it with something that had a little more power behind it. I had heard very good things about the previous generation of the Depstech 8v and this had some features that I haven't seen any other rotaries. I didn't have the biggest budget, so when there was a temporary price drop I went ahead and ordered this with fingers crossed. This thing is an outstanding rotary tool at any price. The motor is a beast. I work a lot with stock reduction of stainless steel and with my carbide burrs, this thing cuts through 304 like butter while the vibration stays very low! Grinding, cutting and sanding, both wood and steel are a pure delight. The ergonomics are very well thought out. It's a bit longer than most in this power range, and it helps tremendously when doing fine detail work. The light attachment is made without threads and can be turned to cast light where you need it without the body getting in the way. My favorite physical feature, however is the spindle lock button. I accidentally hit these buttons on every rotary tool I use more often than I care to admit. I think, in fact, that it's what did the ol Dremel Lite in, eventually. This is never a problem with this tool, as they have designed it such that the spindle lock cannot be engaged while the power button is slid to the on position. I know that for me, this will definitely increase the lifespan of the tool. I doubt I'm alone in that. The battery life is simply phenomenal. As is the charging time. It actually charges far more quickly than the 4v Dremel Lite. I don't know how they managed this. It could be voodoo for all I care. If you're on the fence and need a quality rotary tool to do hard jobs, this is the one you want!

This cordless rotary tool works very well and lasts quite awhile in between charges. It is not too heavy and very durably made. It is very comfortable for me to hold and use. They included accessories make it a great value. I gave it five stars.

Professional groomer here. This was suggested to me for doing dog nails. It is light, has multiple settings and has a long lasting battery. Not technically meant for pets but for someone who does dozens of dogs nails a week it is perfect.

Overall this is a really cool little tool. With one disappointment. The company pictures it with "included work light". Well MEH, it's a junky add on little piece that did not work out of the box and is difficult and awkward to attach rather than being integral to the tool as the photos depict. Deal killer? No, but had this been disclosed I may very well have looked at something else. Thankfully it's not a "needed" thing for me personally though I sure would have appreciated something actually integral to the tool that worked off the tool's battery. Otherwise seems to have good power, battery seems to hold up reasonably well. So for the price honestly a decent tool

The power, battery life, comfort, and utility of this tool is amazing!! Tons of run time and power. I work in a pottery studio and do not have to work this guy hard, but I do grind for a long time. Not an issue. The battery lasts and lasts. I do not have it maxed on power as I’ve never had to. The light is kinda gimmicky, but it does work in tight spots. I have two of these and will not buy another brand. Amazing little tool. Only issue is the charging. It takes a long time and might be better if it had a battery to switch out, but I’m super happy w this purchase. Would recommend to anyone.

Works as it should. Not the most powerful motor and will stop or overheat if you apply too much pressure. But just remember it's meant more for arts and not heavy mechanical use. Cut a metal bolt off a bed frame in about 10 minutes, so that should give you an idea of how the motor is.

This product is solid. I didn't realize how much I needed a Dremel-style tool until I got one. I bought it initially to help me fix a door catch that wasn't quite catching. The versatility of the tool have me using it in many other scenario including the recent "sharpening" job I did with my lawnmower blade. It is very easy to use and reminds me of the "the name brand" product. It comes with several useful attachments and it has the ability to adjust the speed/torque. It isn't too loud when using it either. I bought it during a small sale but it is a good value (again) when compared to the name brand product you can get from the big box stores. A bonus is the case which helps keep everything neat!

Absolutely garbage. Waste of money. Damn thing dies faster than my motivation to complete a project using it. No power at all can't do anything with it the baby motor quits working when it gets anything more than a piece of paper to work on. The hyper tough corded from Walmart is better than this junk

Muy buena. Algo escasa de potencia para piedra pero va bien con lo demás. Fácil de manejar al no tener cable. Se carga con facilidad.

Had it a week or so now, used it 30-40 times. Does everything well. The attachments are good and the shank doesn't slip. Power and run time are fine. The carry case is nice and neat. I really like the attachable guard and led light.

La scatola ha una bella immagine che fa sperare in un prodotto all'altezza delle aspettative, sperando che poi all'interno dell'imballo non ci sia troppa confusione ed invece.. ecco una splendida e inaspettata valigetta. Aperta appare subito questo utensile a batteria, bell'aspetto, che preso in mano fa notare subito il suo peso... c'è della sostanza. Interessanti gli accessori in dotazione: Una scatoletta con diversi pezzi di consumo come dischi da taglio, feltri per lucidare, cilindri di carta vetro ed altro ancora, ma ancor di più un terminale con luce led, una difesa per evitare schegge "volanti" e una sorte di "imbuto" che permette una lavorazione appoggiato al pezzo (che dovrebbe essere piano) per eseguire un taglio perpendicolare e in perfetta sicurezza con la possibilità di regolarne la profondità. C'è anche un cavo per la ricarica della batteria con attacco USB type C e un libretto di istruzioni purtroppo orfano della lingua italiana cosa che mi fa arrabbiare un poco perché l'oggetto merita. La batteria non è estraibile e serve un caricabatterie per la ricarica poiché non è compreso. La tensione di lavoro è di 8 Volt. e il fatto della batteria fissa mi fa pensare che in caso di esaurimento della stessa io non possa finire il lavoro che stavo eseguendo senza contare che solitamente diffido delle versione a batteria di questi utensili perché per forza, velocità e durata non stanno alla pari con le versioni elettriche. Beh, stavolta sono stato smentito. Non potendo caricare al momento la batteria mi sono accontentato della carica iniziale che era al 50%, ma per fare una prova mi bastava. Nel video che ho girato (mi scuserete per la prima parte che ha la messa a fuoco sbagliata e non me ne sono accorto subito) ho provato a tagliare un pezzetto di legno con un disco - che sarebbe stato più adatto al taglio del ferro - per verificare se lo stress del lavoro causasse una caduta di velocità. Nella prima parte ho utilizzato un vecchio utensile elettrico, mentre nella seconda parte ho usato questo Depstech a batteria. Mi ha sorpreso come sia stato alla pari con quello elettrico forse addirittura appena un pò più veloce. La differenza sostanziale sta che nell'elettrico ho settato la velocità di taglio al livello 5 quando c'era ancora il 6 e la max velocità disponibile, mentre sul batteria ho dovuto mettere il livello 5 che è il massimo disponibile. Sul corpo dell'utensile abbiamo in cima vicino al mandrino l'interruttore di accensione e il blocco mandrino per poter stringere o mollare l'accessorio inserito. Nella parte inferiore abbiamo 2 tasti per regolare la velocità e due serie di luci led per indicare il livello di carica e la velocità impostata. Bella la fattura del prodotto, un prezzo azzeccato, prestazioni soddisfacenti. Voto 5 Stelle.

Der Dremel funktioniert super. Sowohl für kleine als auch für große Vorhaben ist er bestens geeignet. Der Akku hält bisher ausreichend lange und lädt auch sehr schnell.
