Single Induction Cooktop

This is not your ordinary hot plate. I do cook in the kitchen but my wife frowns on my using the kitchen stove to make my custom wood finishes. So I bought this induction hot plate to avoid open flames in a woodshop. It works great!!! As long as you a steel or iron cookware, i.e. steel cans, stainless steel, cast iron, etc. it would work. Heats quickly and maintains various temperature precisely. The top itself never gets hot, only the steel cookware and its contents. I use it mostly as a double boiler to melt beeswax and linseed oil, etc. So once your done, you can put it back into its box immediately, no waiting for it to cool since it never gets hot.

It heats up super well and saves me space

No problem using it. The reason Di‘m subtracting one star is that it takes longer to heat things than I expected. I‘m pretty much always using 10, the highest setting.

Works like a charm

I’m very disappointed with this item. The quality is bad and it doesn’t work at all. I tried using it multiple times, but it failed every time. I will be returning it. However, when I initiated the return, they asked me to pay $22 for return shipping, which is very frustrating. Not recommended at all.

Very good induction cooker, it is portable and you can take it wherever you want, it only works with stainless steel pots, good heat and has several heat levels. When you finish cooking, it cools quickly, it's very safe.

As an over the road truck driver I bought this to use while on the road. It works as stated. Easy to operate and clean. Super easy to store and have an awesome heat source for cooking on the go. I use it at home as while. Sometimes when the wife and I are cooking together, it's easier to set this up on the counter top. It gives us more room to cook. I'm seriously thinking of changing over our electric stove with an induction stove. The heat is quicker and once done you don't have to worry about getting burned if you touch the cooking surface.

This induction cooktop was purchased for our vacation where a stove wasn't available. It's definitely lightweight but is mostly plastic. It heats quickly and cools down quickly, as well. It is a good size for a 10" pan or smaller. I gave it 3 stars because it comes with no instructions and I had to turn it on MAX then down until I got the right temp. It would be helpful to equate the different temp settings with foods. In order to get it right, I had to watch it pretty closely until I got the hang of it. I will keep it after vacation, though, as a secondary cooktop for holiday gatherings. Nice and affordable addition to my small appliance shelf.

Rapide et efficace

We used it few times only. Now fan makes awful noise. control panel is made of very soft plastic. I try to cleaned it and accidentally made a deep scratch with my finger nail. Not recommended to buy.

Large Cast iron pan gets hot almost instantly, 3 cups boils in 10 minutes, think I used a pot bigger then 6 inches. The unit works really good, only draws 600w off My solar unit once I reduce the heat down from around 800-1000 watts, on max. Unit does not get hot, no idea how to turn it on without the maximum button going to straight full power, then having to press down 10 times for low.
