Great cartridge and stylus
Wow, what an improvement, a real upgrade on the audio technica that came with my fluance turntable. Easy to fit and a big improvement on sound quality.

Excellent Cartridge for Mid-Range decks (Fitted to a Vintage NAD 5120)
I have just restored a vintage NAD 5120 fitted with a 1980's Ortofon cartridge. The Ortofon was a bit bland with a cloudy high end albeit a decent bass. I fitted the Goldring E3 Purple mostly from What Hi-Fi giving such a good review in 2023 I agree! After setting up the weight (2g) and anti-skate I am really pleased with the outcome, a good bass but a massive difference in the treble really bright and clear.Highly recommended.

Extraordinary cartridge for the money
Have used two of these now, on two different tonearms. They work very very well indeed. Imaging is excellent, soundstage is deep and tracking is very competent. They're sensitive to the condition of the vinyl (but what cartridge isn't?)On both of my tonearms, the cartridge seems to perform best just slightly above 2 grams. My best results with both arms, offering the most neutral mids whilst giving good bass is at 2.15grams. Be sure to pay attention to the vertical height adjustment as it makes a huge difference with these cartridges in particular. Your setup efforts will be very well rewarded with an excellent sounding cartridge that boxes well above its weight, especially so if paired with a good phono pre.

review
This is a fantastic cartridge. I’m hearing small details on records that I’ve not noticed before. If you have a budget or a mid price record deck then this will really help to improve the overall sound.

Sehr guter Klang!

A Solid Performer with a proven track record
I've been wanting to try this cart/stylus out for a while to compare with the MP 110 and the AT-VM95EN on my Pioneer PL-117D turntable and have to say i was quite pleased and immediately noticed an attitude and presence unique and all its own. I enjoy the ability to switch carts easily by removing head shells.
