Box came slightly bruised up, but overall the headphones feel great, they’re comfortable on my ears, and the sound quality has been the best I have ever heard in headphones. I hate the chat mix feature tho, I figured out how to change it with the mobile app but whenever I talked it would pause my music

Love these headphones. I fly a lot and wanted some noise cancelling headphones with great sound quality. These fit the bill, with great sound quality with some fancy adjustments you can do via an app to improve sound quality and atmospheric effects. Noise cancelling is good too. Battery life is very long and recharging is quick. They are also very comfortable and I haven’t suffered sweaty ears at all. Downsides: they don’t pack down particularly small and the touch controls, while cool, have to be quite precise to work.

I tried a lot of headphones and also own Beats Studio Pro, which are great but there's a sound profile to these Sony that is superior on first listen and even better once you find your personal eq through the app or dial it in manually. You can just hear a lot more going on....I think "wider soundstage" might be the proper verbage. I have not tried the Bose Ultra's headphones but I have the earbuds as well as the Sony XM5'S and the Songs outperform on Sound although Bose has better NC. I would imagine the same would apply here especially since I've heard that from others. To sum it up the Beats do sound great but the Sonys are AMAZING!! The Sonys are also more comfortable but the Beats are more suited to outdoor use and feel a bit cooler like I could wear longer before starting to perspire. I'm really going to enjoy these, well done Sony 👏👏👏

Ive had these for about a year now. I’ve never had a headset before and I wanted to go all out. I love the noise cancelling and the ambient noise setting. I tend to wear them all day and I only have to worry about charging it every few days. When it comes to charging, it charges pretty fast for the battery life. Mine did develop an electrical issue that occurrs when it use them for like 8+ hours in a day. I think getting them insured is a good idea

Bought my Sony XM5 Headphones a year ago, now today I dropped them 4 ft drop on carpet and the right plastic hinge cracked, Waste of $300, Sony is really going down hill on product quality, the headphone hinge is made out of thin abs plastic, the hinge just broke like noting when I dropped it. For this price point the hinges should be made out of metal and the construction shouldn't be made out of the cheap abs plastic, I loved these while they lasted, after a year in the battery life was slowly deteriorating sadly these ended up in the trash. All I can say is save yourself 300 dollars and get something else.

Excellent noise cancelling headphones. Very good connection and have not had any hinge issues as of yet. Excellent sound and control features. Mostly very comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
