These wooden hair sticks are pretty good quality and, if you get them in the right spot, they hold your hair up all day. I have long hair, right about to my lower back. I use 1 to hold my hair up when it’s wet and 1-2 when dry depending on how stubborn my hair is that day. These are pretty heavy duty. If I lost them, I would totally buy them again.

These have kind of slippery texture and don't really have much weight to them but it doesn't affect anything badly, they work great. I just learned how to do hairstyles with hair sticks and these work perfectly to make a beautiful hairstyle. They're exactly what I wanted.

These hold really well. I have long medium to thick straight hair. I wasn't sure if they would hold the style but they really do well. I've even slept with them in my hair and they did not come out nor break. I think wood works better than slick plastic. I'm very happy with the length of the stick, as well. I'll purchase again if needed.
