This fireplace set gets the job done and looks sleek next to the fireplace or on the hearth. They're sturdy but the brush is coming apart slightly after the winter season. Still functional though!

this is a pretty solid set of fireplace tools. I would recommend using some type of thread lock on the handles. the poker is very strong, the shovel is very sturdy ( our last set the ash shovel bent where it was riveted to the rod ). the broom is firm it's not soft but it's not too firm either. the stand hold everything very well and has a stable base.

This set works well and it's nice and sturdy, but some of the handle piece appeared to have some slight rusting right out of the bag already. Not very noticeable, so not a problem for me. We use this for our outdoor fireplace and it works well! The stand has some decent weight to it and feels sturdy. Great for our needs.

I got this set of fireplace tools when I got my wood stove insert replaced, and have been using it for a couple of months. As you can see, my old tools have been in service for decades and are pretty well beat up.Overall, I am pleased with this set of tools. I like that the textured handles offer a good grip, and it's nice to not have to look at rusted out tools next to a brand new fireplace... that said, rusted as they are, you can certainly tell by the heft and details that the antique fireplace tools were simply built better. Pragmatically though, one has to acknowledge that they simply don't make thing like they used to. This set of steel tool with the antique brass finish are exactly what I needed to "refresh" my hardworking hearth, and I would recommend them if they are suitable for your budget.
