Boxed water may be better, but at this price, who can afford it when compared to bottle water? This is ridiculously high.

Yes....the price has to come down for me to buy this again. And there is an odor on the box that I don’t like. I’m sure these issues will get better but for now, I won’t buy again.

What is the shelf life of boxed water?

The shelf life of our product is two years from the production date marked on the box. We recommend drinking and replacing at the best by date to ensure a pure and fresh taste.

Is there any plastic or non biodegradable materials in this carton?

Plastic impregnated cardboard is not recyclable. Also 85% of plastic products go in the landfill. Of the 15% that is recycled, 90% of that ends up in landfills. Selling snake oil called a "warm fuzzy feeling" but in all reality is probably more resource-intensive than the infamous nestle/aquafinas of the water industry.
