I have been using 1000 series shaver for years. Realising I needed an upgrade on my older moder I went for this. I had tried Remington and the Chinese brand Enchen and a few others as spares but they proved to be rubbish. Anyways I went for this Philips as my old model had served me well. Ive only had it a few days bit I can say its performed extremely well. It shaves close and leaves a smooth finish. For the price its excellent value for money. The only downside is the USB charger cable maximum 5V 1A so be very careful. In this day and age who has this type of usb input. 15V-65V would be an average for most charging plugs. Can it damage the shaver getting it wrong well take a read online. Luckily I recalled having a single socket in the house with the necessary 5V connection. So annoying . My old Philips shaver simply plugged into the shaving socket in the bathroom. Oh as for instructions virtually zilch. From Philips website i Input voltage: 100–240 V. Output voltage: 5 V. Power output: 1 A or higher. However the above apart its an excellent shaver. Dont forget to register for the 3 year warranty.

Very good. I found this to be a much closer shave than the yellow Remington Men's Electric Shaver, which I had previously. I didn't give it 5 stars because when you take the cap off, it sometimes opens the top with it and hairs fall all over the place, unless you clear it out after every shave. Slight design fault.

Okay, it's not as smooth as a wet shave but it cuts close and is certainly easier than the faffing about of a wet shave and so much quicker. When I tried an electric shaver years ago it left me unimpressed and with a bad rash.....the complete opposite of this! Highly recommended for people who wants to look tidy but can't bothered anymore.

I gave up on rotary shavers decades ago, but since I retired, foil razors don't cope with stubble very well. I decided to try a rotary razor again. I have a Philips battery shaver in my overnight bag, which is OK, so I decided to try Philips. I saw one reduced to less than £60, so bought it. The shave was excellent, and fast. I decided to buy a second one for my static caravan, where I spend much of the summer. I saw this one even cheaper, but the description was very close. I bought it, and what a revelation. The head seems identical, the noise is identical and the shave just as good. Any difference seems to be minor and only cosmetic. The cheaper one is 2 grammes heavier. In my book, this model is fantastic value for money. A great electric shaver at a fantastic price. I even go a free extension to a three year guarantee.

Battery lasts well and quick to recharge and razor works well on my nature gifted chiselled features LOL.

Perfect scheerapparaat. Het apparaat scheert gewoon glad. Langzaam bewegen met enige druk op de huid, met draaiende bewegingen. Werkt het best als de huid goed droog is. Erg stil in gebruik en lange scheertijd. Kortom een prima keus voor een redelijke prijs.

Points positifs : Rasage confortable, même sur les peaux sensibles. Bonne prise en main et appareil léger. Utilisable sur peau sèche ou humide selon les préférences. Nettoyage simple et entretien facile. Bonne autonomie de la batterie. Points négatifs : Moins efficace sur les poils très longs, un passage à la tondeuse peut être nécessaire avant le rasage. Le rasage est un peu moins précis qu'avec une lame, notamment au niveau des contours. Avis global : Un rasoir électrique fiable et agréable à utiliser au quotidien. Il offre un bon confort de rasage et une autonomie satisfaisante. Un bon choix pour ceux qui recherchent un appareil pratique et efficace.
