Must when working on an older car.
I bought this to help while working on an older car and trying to undo rusted bolts and nuts. This was a great tool and combined with a blow torch to heat the nuts then a blast of this spray to cool it to break the rust and lubricate this. It worked very well and certainly worked for me. It is better value here than other stores. Will buy again.

No bueno.
Zero points really , doesn't work, sprayed it on a steel bolt stuck in an alu head...1 minute maybe, with application in stages, barely frozen, I used an air duster, did 10 times colder, but no bueno, ended up welding a nut, free in 30 seconds, save your money... no penetrative agents in it either from what I could tell !!! Junk.

Cools the metal but not enough to unstick a bolt
I bought this to freeze a stuck bolt in a classic car. It does cool down the metal, i didnt think it was anywhere near -50c and i used the whole can on one bolt in three attempts to release the bolt but it was no avail. The spray didnt seem to make any difference at all. I doubt Iโll use this again.

Worked like a charm
Had tried several ways to undo a large flywheel nut on a 14HP Briggs & Stratton mower engine. Would not budge. Then applied Crackit per instructions. Then reapplied socket with long extension and hit it with hammer as before but this time it suddenly gave way after which the nut came off easily . This is not the first time I have used this product. I have also used it successfullt in the past to remove a recalcitrant gear box pulley.

stick to plus gas
Works only as a release spray, no better or worse than plus gas.

Worked like a charm
As some may know, Campagnolo Power Torque carbon cranksets are notoriously impossible to remove using the designed-for-purpose tool. Filling the hollow crank with cotton wool and freezing it with the spray meant knocking the chain set out from the non-drive side was surprisingly easy. This stuff works.

Neither crack nor freezes - but shockingly bad
I may have received a dodgy batch, or possibly a previously returned item (there was no nozzle attachment as per the photo), but all it did was spray slightly-less-than-room-temperature lubricant. It certainly did not do what it says in the tin. Very disappointing.
