Simple and effective. Works great for maintaining an edge on your knives. It would be tough to establish an edge with this, but that's not what it is intended to do.

This thing is impressive. Started with sharpening all my kitchen knives. They cut better now than I think they ever have. Then moved on to my S90V Benchmade. After 5 swipes it was razor sharp. I'm beyond impressed.

This is a very nice little knife sharpener. Relatively small and easy to use. Very good for sharpening pocket knives and kitchen knives when you need to put an edge on quickly. I would recommend it.

Our captain in Alaska used this, he really liked it. Not much better than less expensive guides, doesn't do the tip very well, certainly not adjustable for different angles.

Easy to operate. Just hold the base down low to keep your hand out of the way.
