There’s no padding in the area where your baby’s body would be. The padding would only be around your baby. I ordered this thinking it would be like a bed/lounger for the living room for playtime or supervised naps but unfortunately it doesn’t have the padding where my baby would actually lay so I will be returning. Update: I decided since I purchased this I would just go ahead and see how my baby likes it before returning and my baby just loves it he looks so comfy and is napping so peacefully with it just hugging his body. Updated from 2 stars to 4 stars.

Purchased the pale pink baby lounger and love it! Beautiful color and pattern. The fabric on both sides is very soft and seems durable. The padding all the way around creates good support. Last plus was the hidden zipper - opens and closes smoothly and will allow for easy cleaning!

First time mom who had separation anxiety. This helped me. Fit in the pack and play I had set up next to bed. Perfect for traveling and laying in bed next to you. Once my little started rolling over, we stopped using it. Washing was easy. Very soft. I never used the flaps. They unzip and I left them off

I was skeptical at first based on how the area that the baby lays on top of , feels very thin and not very cushioned at all, but baby seems to like sleeping on it so I guess what I think doesn’t really matter. It doesn’t feel like the best quality for the money in my opinion though.

Our baby girl fusses when we lay her down on our firm mattress. She'd rather be held, but when we lay her in this she does not complain..she loves it. Not too firm, a little flimsy but I like how it is constructed , when baby lays in it, the cloth fits tighter so that there is no looseness preventing suffocation. So far so good.
