The Pink Ladies Club As a cancer survivor, I found it easy to relate to each of the 3 main characters' stories of their battles with the disease.I laughed, I cried and I enjoyed this book immensely. Told in a sensitive but factual and honest way by Emma Hannigan, this story is a page turner.The outcomes of each character, were very credible. The pain and angst felt by these ladies as well as the families concerned was palpable and moving. Alfie, the husband of one of the characters, touched my heart in many ways. His struggle was well understood and related by the author. The reluctance to change by another's husband was typical of the women I spent time in clinics with also, however the support given by most of the families is priceless and reassuring.I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a credible, real story written as fiction.I have now ordered Emma's other books.

Looking for a holiday read, & had read the reviews,loved the book an insight into people living with cancer in a realistic way. Funny,sad & truthful but made me think if ever I was in that situation how would I react! Would highly recommend this book.

This book will make you laugh and cry. I loved it and was not ready for it to finish. This is my 3rd book by this author and I feel all of them could have a follow up which I would love to see. If you are or have been through the troubled times in the book , you will find it very true to life. There is one shocker that I was not ready for and had to take a deep breath, but altogether a great book

Wonderful story, which really explained different types of cancer treatments, and showed how different people deal with this scary illness. As the author has had cancer a few times, and you can feel the authenticity in this story. Characters are very credible
