I have tried a few other "easy off" nail base gels and this one is by far the best. Some of the other brands were so "easy" to come off my whole nail would pop off within 24hrs, but not Orly. When its time to change my nails its very quick and easy to soak off with minimal damage to my natural nails. I have only used it as a base although it is advertised as a top as well. If you normally do your nails at home this is a great addition to your nail game.

Don't even try to do gel nail polish at home without this! I used to struggle for over an hour to remove my gel polish at home. I would file the top coat off, soak for 30 minutes and still struggle to scrape off the nail polish. Removal used to take over an hour. Now my routine begins with hand filing the top coat off, then I soak in acetone with the nail clips for 5 minutes, then I slide a wooden cuticle stick under the polish from the cuticle area. Most of my nails will just pop right off as a peelie. My thumbs are a bit more stubborn but this product has cut my removal time down to about half an hour. My nails are much less damaged, and I will never do gel nails without this base coat.As a side note, I do not notice any change to weartime when I use this base coat but I admit I've never worn any set longer than 2 weeks. I use 1 thin coat (really make sure to wipe the brush well because it holds a lot of polish) on each nail and cure for 30 seconds. I do use a regular base coat over that but Orly says it's unnecessary.I've already purchased 3 bottles of this. You must try!!!

This stuff does what it says! You still have to soak your nails in acetone, but removal is much easier and takes much less time and effort. Within about 5-10 minutes the gel easily peels off. However — within a few days, I typically start to chip/my gel starts to lift at the corners. I usually get a week out to my gel mani using this peel off base, as opposed to 2-3 with a typical gel base. All in all, it’s a great option if you swap gel manis fairly often and are looking to improve the overall health of your nails.

I got mine for about $16 and it was THE BEST money I've ever spent on nail products. Just like some reviews say, it didn't cure completely with my UV/LED lamp, but it doesn't matter to me as I am applying gel color and top coat over it anyways.In my case I don't use salon quality products so after about 2 weeks the tips of the nails start to crack or chip off no matter what, and that's when I can just lift up and peal off easily. I've tried doing that only a few days after applying but that was not a good idea. If you do it too early the adhesion is still too strong it will take away some parts of your healthy nail surface with it.I've also used builder gel over it and it worked exactly the same, super easy to peal off after the tips start to lift. This product saved my healthy nails. No more thin and sore nails! I'm so thankful!

I did my gel polish and peeled it off the first use just to see if it would really work and it does! No damage to the nail and I didn’t even need a remover.

This product is not very good. The product only lasts for a few days then starts to come off. After you peel off the product your nails look worse than ever. This product is not healthy for your nails and does not stay on long.

The directions say to use this base coat with Orly gel colors, but I have successfully used this base coat with brands of gel polish from other companies. It is so lovely to remove the gel polish without gouging the nail surface. Without using this product, I would file away the shiny layer and soak in warm/hot acetone for 15 minutes, and scrub and scrub and finally resort to scraping with a metal tool to get all traces of color off the nails. The metal tool damaged my nails. When I use this basecoat, removal is easy and my nails are not harmed.
