This 5 set piece is well made with an excellent array of sizes as well as a sharpener. The set comes in a nice case offering good blade protection and a nice sleek look. The knives are comfortable to hold and easy to grip.

Cuts well

I've been using these for ~7 months. The edges are extremely sharp, and they have held up well to fairly consistent use. The boning knife is excellent on beef, slides around and under silver skin on raw tri tip like butter and is also pretty good for breaking down poultry. The carving knife I use less frequently but it'll cut through large steaks and tri tips easily. The knives look cool and have solid design. My one nitpick would be the boning knife feels almost too light, and the carving knife is long and front-heavy, so you have to be extremely careful with how you handle them; I don't think that's worth docking a star for, though. Be sure to wash quickly after use as I have (by my own fault) left them dirty overnight before, and there were small tarnish spots after I subsequently cleaned them.

Let me start with how impress the knives are, the packaging and sharpness. Trimming chicken a tri-tip was easy and so smooth. My one thing is ….. these knives are sharp, be careful when handling them and like most people know, respect sharp knives. These are new and how long they stay sharp before needing to be re-sharpen with depend on use. I think the price for these knives are a really good price. I would buy again.
