Works as advertised
I burn insense daily since I’m Greek Orthodox. After a bad experience twice with another product, and trying to find a brand that will actually ship to my state and city I found this company and product. I am very happy with it. Lights easy with just a match flame. Does not smell bad at all, and burns very hot for over 30+ minutes.

Heats evenly and quickly!
Some charcoals I have used take 5 minutes or more to heat up and evenly. These charcoals are awesome; they light instantly and heat evenly within 20 seconds.

Sparky, shedding, hard to light, smelly
I've been using different charcoal tablets for years. These are the worst charcoal tablets I've ever used. When lighting they spark off, the charcoal dust sheds everywhere it takes many tries for this to light, and then when it does burn it emits a stronger smell than others I've used + it burns hotter.

Acceptable, but I have frequent issues with the coals burning out
The coals light up pretty easy and burn pretty nicely for a little while, probably around 20 minutes or so, but after that, they tend to want to burn out and become regular ol' rocks that don't re-ignite nearly as easily. I've tried them in multiple different types of burners with varying levels of ventilation and get the same results unfortunately. They're still pretty competent and useful. I've found that breaking them into a few pieces helps them burn fully and consistently, but I usually just stack the unburnt charcoals on top of new ones and cycle them out.
