I have a fussy puss who has always been rather portly since neutering, and as he is a 15 year old indoor cat his opportunity for exercise has reduced, and lately he's been struggling to keep the weight off. His previous diet food vanished and it took me a while to find another. Whilst this is double the price of some alternatives, sadly he seems to have expensive taste, as unless this is in his bowl, he will leave other brands and keep me up all night or disturb me at work, begging for Meowing Heads. Whilst I'm on a bit of a strict budget, I think this needs to be increased to accomodate this, as he's not happy without it. Saying that, he may lose even more weight if he's not touching the alternatives, but I want him to be happy, so guess Meowing Heads it is! I also appreciate the music related puns which is what led me to try it in the first place!

This cat food was recommend by my vet ... I have an indoor cat and it helps to keep him at a sensible weight .....

I switched to this food as my outdoor cat had starting gaining lots of weight and appeared quite lethargic. I was a little dubious as he's always loved the previous brand but thought I would give this a try. He LOVES it. He runs at me whenever the bag comes out of the cupboard. Since starting this his coat has become beautiful and shiny, he also sheds less. He is more active and out most of the time. He seems much happier in himself and he appears to have lost a little weight. The one downside is the strong odour, when he is grooming himself after eating he absolutely stinks BUT its worth it for seeing the change in my cat.

Cats like it but it doesn't seem to fill them up so they pester for food as they are meant to be on a diet. It is not good value for money and is also not easily available in pet stores meaning it can only be replaced via Amazon. Better to use Royal Canin dry food for weight management.

My local pet store has stopped selling this in-store, so needed to find somewhere else to get it! Been using on my neutered always hungry cat for about 3 years. She always eats it... I thought she would eat anything until I had to give her a different brand... Now it's clear this is the winner! It has helped her to lose weight and now she is at a good weight for her breed.
