If you use chopsticks you'll love these! They're lightweight (~20g/pr.), nicely made and finished, inert, non-allergenic, last- forever tools for eating... what more could you want? The banded indents at the business ends give enough friction/holding-power to make them capable of picking up just about anything you'll want to eat (see the photo of holding a frozen blueberry), turkey legs are difficult though... And brilliantly, the other ends are square, making them easy to hold, and they won't roll off the table into your lap and onto the floor. I only wish they were a wee bit less expensive, but having worked with titanium myself, and knowing how difficult it is to work, not to mention how expensive, I'm actually surprised they don't cost more. If you like eating with chopsticks, buy these, you won't be disappointed!

BOTTOM LINE: Super lightweight hollow titanium sticks have squared sides to keep them from rolling around / falling off the table, which is a nice feature. Tips of 'sticks have milled grooves which may aid some in gripping food better. Attractive bead-blasted matte finish. Clean up is a snap. Includes gray cinch bag for storage. 5 STARS THOUGHTS: Been meaning to treat myself to some permanent chopsticks for years now. After pouring through the several brands and styles here on Amazon, I settled on these for two reasons: price & features. The squared sides of these chopsticks means they are far less likely to roll across the table and fall onto the floor. I'm surprised more manufacturers don't offer this slick option as standard. The small grooves milled into the bottom inch of so of the 'sticks might help some folks in getting a better hold on their food portions but honestly they're more of a styling feature than a practicality thing. These are a little thicker than the bamboo chopsticks most restaurants give you, but not so much so as to make them cumbersome to use, by any means. Lightweight titanium construction makes them feel like they're almost not there, plus there's no issue with retaining food taste or odor afterwards. And yes, they are hollow, so you're NOT going to be able to use them as substitute rock climbing pitons or some other such macho nonsense - but they're designed to carry bite-sized chunks of food from your plate to your mouth, not be used as crossbow bolts or defensive shanks to stave of attacking hordes of the undead. Lastly, the simple little cinch carry bag is a nice touch if you intend to take these with you when you dine out, or camping or whatnot. After several meals using these I am very happy and 100% satisfied. I recommend these snazzy titanium chopsticks from Valtcan to anyone looking to buy a classy, permanent set for themselves or as a gift for a friend or family member.
