King Hoff KH-1221 Whistling Kettle Black Stainless Steel 3.4 litres

This kettle is really well made and efficient. it is heavy, as the base is really thick. It looks really nice and boils the amount of water that I need in a short space of time.

Bought as an alternative to reliance on electric kettle. It's well made and a good-looking piece of kitchen furniture. When I first used it, I was taken back a few years to my childhood memories hearing the whistle chortle its urgent demand. Can't swear this, as I was still dwelling in my memories, but the cuppa it made was the best I've had in years, as I thought of my dear ol' Mum and Dad.I use it on our wood burner stove/fire. In an emergency, it can be used on the camping gas stove/heater. It takes longer to boil than the convenience of an electric kettle, but it boils enough water to make a pot of tea and enough left over for washing up. Not many electric kettles can boast that.

Liked this kettle but didn't realize how big it was .still it does the job and whistles and easily fills

The media could not be loaded. Fab kettle. A few extra minutes to boil but is faster with hot tap water (obviously only ok if you have a combi boiler) , Looks great, it whistles fantastically. Only negative is it doesn’t switch itself off of course, so a little planning is needed but nothing to do with the kettle’s quality, it’s brilliant. Easy fill through the spout too although you can easily take the lid off. Little tip, pour away old boiled water as this can create a lot more lime scale than fresh each time will.

This is an excellent quality sturdy kettle with a lovely smooth pouring action. The handle stays cool with a good comfy grip. It sits nicely on the gas hob, heats up really quickly and has a loud whistle that you can't fail to hear. A beautiful design in polished silver. Love it!

Lovely kettle, had 6 months and the whistle snapped off, now I can't get hold of the seller to return it.

Great kettle. Perfect size easy to fill easy to pour from.It really does make you deal with a hot boiled kettle straight away because of the whistle. Rather than walking away in forgetting it like an electric one and then having to click it back on hence more power.

Der Kessel braucht 10min um das Wasser zu erhitzen und hatte mehrere Kratzer. Sah benutzt aus, war kaum zu gebrauchen. Ging auf eigene Rechnung retour. Vom Kaufpreis wurden dann 40% abgezogen weil der Kessel benutzt war (einmalig mit Wasser befüllt). Das heißt mit Retour habe ich 16,90€ für garnichts bezahlt. Service der Vertrauen weckt...
