I had a problem with my radiator - it worked great for a short while and then died. I tried changing the fuse but it was DOA.Contacted PureMate not expecting much but after confirming that their quick fix didn't work, was told very quickly that they'd sort out a replacement, including a courier to come pick up the old one.I was super impressed and this no questions asked policy turned me from a very frustrated customer to a happy one.HT Steph at Puremate UKFour stars because i had a problem with the product but five stars for their fix.I'd say you could buy this without worry given the customer service.It's a terrific radiator and sits under my desk and keeps me warm when I'm WFH and too mean to put the central heating on.

We all know that with electric heaters you get the same amount of heat for the same amount of electricity. Where they differ is in how that heat is delivered. This heater is great for background heat, it will sit quietly and keep a set temperature. It will disappoint if you get into a cold house and switch it on hoping to be warm in 5 minutes. For that you need a convector or fan heater. But for regular, routine heating which runs off the included timer, and is safe to leave running when you are out or away, this is great. Excellent value and big enough for its heat rating unlike a lot of cheap electric rads which get dangerously hot.

Avoid. Very disappointed as it worked for a couple of weeks and then started leaking oil from the bottom. By way of example I timed it - over a 9 hour period there was a puddle of oil underneath the size of a 20 pence piece.I had seen reports of this in the reviews, but a friend bought one several years ago and it works really well, he had researched it and at that point the reviews were positive. Therefore mistakenly I decided to ignore the reviews and buy it. I should not have done so. Either he has been lucky or the quality control during manufacture has declined.It was then a pain to arrange a refund. I had to spend a lot of time on chat with Amazon customer service explaining that you can't return something if it is leaking oil as this is Hazmat and couriers won't take it. The customer service representative had obviously not been trained on this and had started off ignoring me saying it is not possible to return it due to the oil issue. I needed to keep pushing the issue and explaining couriers won't take it.I now need to somehow arrange to take it to a recycling centre to dispose of properly.On the positive side if you wish to risk the leaking issue it was easy to assemble and did a very good job heating a big room - even when only on half power (although I do wonder about the thermostat and controls - I set it to half power but given the amount of heat it pumps out I am not sure if the controls were faulty and if it was actually working on full power).

A great heat from this little radiator. I turn it on full till the room heats up then I turn it down low, the radiator doesn't seem to get any cooler after you turn it down but it is cheaper to run on the lower setting

This has really helped in what would be a very cold room without it. It turns itself off once the set temperature is reached and stays hot for a good while.

Easy to pop the feet on when it arrived and easy controls. We needed it as a temporary emergency heat source. Our lounge / diner is about 20ftx16ft , it took the chill off the air and the room temperature went up by a good 4 degrees. Pretty impressive for a little radiatorPretty happy all in all . On a further note ...we've noticed it's pretty good on the slightly chilly nights and no need for the central heating on at all .
