Is this like gorilla tape - bit thicker and shiny? I am looking for something matt and more like linen tape, but in black.

This tape is really good and strong. I've not had Gorilla Tape but Tesa is much more like linen. Not thick. It has a semi matt/shine to it. Certainly not what I'd call true shiny so I guess it is more on the matt side. The one I use is black and looks good when applied and sticks well.
