Review: All my pips sprouted! - All my pips sprouted! However two quickly died after sprouting. No idea why, they were on opposite sides of my garden, and all of them received relatively the same conditions. But I’m so happy with my purchase!
Review: They came with MITES! - The pips showed up with mites on them. I attempted to kill the mites and still planted them to see if I could save them. The flowers did not make it as the mites remained and killed the flowers. I have now seen mites in other flower pots in my house and I’m worried that this purchase is going to kill all the flowers in my house

**Q: Will they bloom this year, 2014?**
A: They will most likely NOT bloom the first season the bulbs or bare root Lilies are planted.

**Q: will they bloom in texas**
A: Yes they will bloom in Texas, they would need good shade with a little sunlight maybe 2-3 hours a day. Soil can be dry,they are drought tolerant but they like moist soil, not drenched. Water every 4 days. Because they are a mostly shade plant, you don't want there roots always wet.

**Q: Can I start them indoors and transplant when it’s warmer?**
A: Yes you can start inside. It would be alrigh to plant now. The cold will not hurt them.

**Q: What are "pips"? I received a bag full of what looks like roots. Planted weeks ago, no change.**
A: pips are the tip of each root that will flower. You want the pip very near the top of the soil. They love shade and frequent watering of well-drained soil.

They came well wrapped and moist, in good condition. Put in the fridge still in the packaging and planted two days later. I'm in NE North Carolina (newly rezoned and growing zone 8) so I planted in complete shade with only indirect sun. I remember these small fragrant plants from my childhood in WI so know that they may struggle but am so very hopeful they do ok. They came up within a week and the foliage looks great. Still waiting on the little bell blooms...i need more patience, sigh.
