Always hold the tissue exactly where you want it to end up FIRST, blot the tissue DRY, then quickly wick in the SMALLEST amount of glue to flood the contact surface(s). However, CA glues can get very HOT, very QUICKLY while curing - IF you allow a large droplet of wet glue to accumulate anywhere on the tissue, or the tissue is too MOIST anywhere. So if your patient *yelps* during or shortly after the procedure, don't blame the glue, blame you.
