This GORE WINDSTOPPER jacket is soft and breathable, while keeping you very warm. A lightweight fleece lining combined with a slim cut will make this jacket perfect for riding when the wind is blowing, or the temperature is dropping.

Great for daily use
I wear this jacket daily in 0 dC weather even when not on my bike. Very windproof and warm. Pockets in the back are roomy and zippered if needed. Body fitting and attractive. No real downside. Very good for about $100 which I got it for.

Great cool weather jacket
High quality material, plenty of zippered pockets, fits well, all good. With appropriate layering this is a very versatile jacket for cycling, running, Nordic skiing, etc.UPDATE May 2014: I have worn this jacket several times a week for the last couple of years. No issues, wears lime iron. So versatile by adjusting layers. Used from mid-teens to mid-fifties.

Fantastic Jacket
Love this jacket. True to size, warm, and blocks the wind. Zippers, both front back and side, are easy to use. Would recommend to anyone.

What's with a woman's / Euro zipper on a men's US Jacket?
Overall I like this jacket. Form fitting, athletic cut but I can't get past the backwards zipper. This jacket is produced by Gorewear North America, why would they use a Euro style (woman's in the US) zipper on a men's jacket. Disappointed as it was a keeper until I went to zip it up.

Worth the price to avoid feeling like you're in a sauna
Perfect winter riding jacket. 10mi at 0500 30-50 F. Looks good but not overly extra medium snug that you can't move. Costs more than all the knock offs here but breathes amazingly well while retraining heat And just enough moisture. With one of the most popular off brands, the jacket would be drenched in sweat and wouldnt dry off in my locker even after 12 hrs.

Warm, Water-tight, Windproof
I've ridden this jacket in 20 degree temperatures, high winds, and light rain/snow. The jacket performs as advertised and makes riding in the winter bearable. The jacket, in fact, is TOO warm above outside temperature at about 55 degrees. It's an excellent winter cycling jacket.

Grey not black & tired looking grey color
Color was grey and should be described as being 80 percent grey in color with some 20 percent black trim. I didn’t wear or use this item—I returned it because of the color being grey (and it’s a dingy looking tired color of grey). I paid return shipping too—so the whole transaction was not good. I’ll still buy Gore products but won’t when they’re poorly described or pictured.

First Rate Gore Jacket
Excellent quality product, as usual, from Gore. I’ve had several compliments on how smart and effective it is as a cycling jacket. Would definitely but it again, if only it was back in stock again.
