Way better than expected
I got this through a deal of the day for $22.I was expecting something akin to my singer “sew simple” or the AliExpress mini machines frustrating to learn and use but workable for repairs once you pass the trial by fire. This this is way easier than that! This works almost like a big actual sewing machine. It doesn’t drop stitches and it sews really well! Only sews a basic straight stitch but so does the sew simple. I’ve tried many mini machines and this is the best one I’ve ever used.I also really love it has a slow setting and a finger guard. I had quit machine sewing for a while after a tragic accident sewing my finger into a project. I just really appreciate the safety features here. Because it’s giving me that anxiety reduction needed to be more active sewing again. Some tips for parents getting this.Get a threader. They come with any cheap sewing kit. This will help you rethread past the finger guardIf the machine “stops working” suddenly and won’t turn on this thing seems to sense jams and prevents them by not allowing you to run the machine until the obstruction is clear. This is actually REALLY COOL for a child’s learner machine as it means you’re not going to break this on accident. Usually turning the knob on the side gently towards you to manually rotate the needle will fix this and have it run again. If that doesn’t work unthread the top thread and rethread it.This thing is loud though. But it’s a basic machine and all the basic models are loud. Some WD40 in classic key places made it a bit quieter.Yeah this is perfect for someone in the target demographic who watched miraculous ladybug and wanted to try sewing. They could do that and not have this machine ruin the dream before it began. I might have to check out other ladybug merch cause the care for the fans and attention to detail here is pretty amazing. It doesn’t look like her machine in the show but since it’s an actual working machine and not a crappy toy, I’m giving that a pass.

Disappointing Quality, Doesn’t Work Well
I was really excited to get this sewing machine for my child, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. Right out of the box, the machine was difficult to thread, and even after following the instructions carefully, it didn’t sew properly. It kept jamming and was never able to sew more than a couple of lines. The build quality feels flimsy, and the machine doesn’t seem to have enough power to sew through even basic fabric. It was really frustrating for my child, who lost interest quickly. I would not recommend this sewing machine if you're looking for something that actually works well. Total waste of money.

Smaller than it looks in the picture but a great learning starter sewing machine!

Okay for Miraculous Ladybug Fans
It's cute for what it is. My daughter is the biggest Miraculous Ladybug fan, so she HAD to have this and it was fairly cheap. My preteen struggles with attention, and she is new to sewing with a machine, so it's more of a decoration piece, so I can't really speak to the quality. There was a needle guard to protect fingers which is nice in theory, but we had to restring thread and either we did it wrong, or we really did have to get a screw driver to remove the plastic piece which was a lot of work for threading the needle. I can't say I would recommend for sewing projects, but for the Miraculous Ladybug fan, it is a cute novelty item.

Very attractive
Works great,i love this machine but it only comes with 3 bobbins pre filled with colors i don't use i tried looking for more bobbins on line even called the manufacturer but nobody called me back, there's no specific type of bobbin in the instructions but states any other bobbins not compatible, only ones specific for that machine or it will cause damage,so when the thread runs out ill rethread with colors i want,i made several Barbie and baby doll clothes and fixed my clothes,i really like this machine its very easy to thread the machine and it comes pre threaded so u know how to do it.

Frustrating for a kid/beginner
My daughter thought this was a great gift, however I find it very frustrating. When the machine is threaded, the tension is incredibly tight which causes the thread to pop out of the needle (which is hard for a child/beginner to understand). It's time consuming and tedious to undo the screw and take the needle guard off every time she unthreads the needle, which is practically every time she tries to turn the machine on. There is more down time when using this machine than actual sewing time. It now sits in the box in a corner untouched because she got frustrated after trying to use it too separate times. Gave it some stars because it does actually work if used correctly by someone with experience, and because the theme items in the kit are cute.

Excellent
We bought this for our daughter as a Christmas gift. It does a great job, is easy to use, safe, and even dad loves it.

Cute but doesn't work
Bought as a Christmas present for my 7 year-old daughter. It comes with a power cord and pedal. However, after plugging the pedal into the machine it did not work. We had to rely on pressing the power button on the machine to get it to go. After about 10 mins of use the light went out, shortly after the button to make the machine sew stopped working. We took a brief break and everything started back up, so looks like it easily overheats. To add, I was only trying to show my daughter how to make a really simple barbie dress. The threads wouldn't even hold. The tension couldn't be loosened enough, yet when sewn the thread wouldn't hold.... only bought for the small compact size and finger guard. I don't recommend buying any of these cute kid machines as they all seem to be built the same. Cute idea, but 0 stars
