Working as described. Used this type of material for yrs. Easy to cut an fit where needed in small enough sheets. Good price for amount. Doors are solid w/o vibrations.

The mats I purchased were used in an attempt to deaden loud noises coming from a closet in my garage that houses a sump pump. The mats were applied to the walls and piping in accordance with the recommendations included in the packaging. The sound deadening qualities were noticeable immediately because of the reduced vibrations.

Let me first start by saying if you do not have insulation or are unsure about if your car has insulation and this would be worth implementing, you will notice immediate benefits even from a few pads in the prime locations where road noise seeps in. I'm doing a 2016 Taurus and I purchased 30 pads all together and I think they should be enough to do the interior, make sure you get rollers to put the mat down. Good product.

I used this mat to surround the 8" exhaust vent on my microwave. The vent was very loud when microwave was on. This cut the noise to about half what it was. I used three layers.

These mats are easy to apply and contour. The inside of my outboard engine cover has few flat surfaces and getting the mats to bend and contour to the inside was relatively easy. I used all 10, overlapping instead of cutting. I used the round ends of screwdrivers and plastic scrapers to smooth out. I’m a little skeptical of the sticking power of these, so after putting them all on, i used a heat gun to warm it all up and go back over everything with my tools to ensure it all stuck. I wont know if the sound is deadened much until i take the boat out again, so I’ll update later. For the money, i think it’s a good purchase. I need to buy more,
