Six years later we still love this sink
We’re glad we selected this sink six years ago. It still looks great and performs well for our household. We put washed dishes in the small side to let them dry, which reduces clutter on the counter. It oxidizes a bit giving it more of a matte finish. If you want it shiny and repelling water into beads like a RainX windshield, there is a scrubbing solution for stainless sinks that can be applied, rubbed in, and wiped off. I use a few paper towels and it takes a few minutes. Not a bad thing to do before your mother-in-law visits :-) Sound dampening is good (reasonable, what you’d expect, but not crazy amazing if that is ultra important to you) and the protective wire grids are a really good idea. I’m now looking for replacement covers for those grids (they wore through), which is why I was looking at my original order today and reviewing here. Photos show appearance, sink depth, and sink condition when it has not been scrubbed in months (light cleanings, not polishing away the oxidized finish for like-new). Pro-tip: when installing, attach a board at back side of sink to support it if someone puts pressure on the front side. My contractor did that and given my habit of leaning back into the sink when cooking and talking (more comfortable than cabinet and countertop edge elsewhere), I suspect the sink might have otherwise slide back or be at risk of that happening. Kraus - Large Impressive and Good Looking!
Heavy, high quality and very impressive - this sink is a monster. The apron look in front is just what we were looking for. I choose to set it flush with the countertops we had installed with our kitchen, a mix of cherry cabinets and a lighter "Juniper" granite stone which is basically a cream with cherry spotted accents. It goes well for a touch of MOD with traditional. Good value for the price as most others were in the $900 up range. We haven't done much in the sink yet, but I imagine it is easy to maintain/clean which was another reason I chose it. Whether you're looking to add an edge to your kitchen upgrade or doing complete remodel - this will make for an impressive element in completing the look for sure.

Worth the money
Quality product!!! Very satisfied - from packaging to after installation. The edges are very well done, has a sharp look but smooth to touch. The installers scratched(created some kind of mark) the surface while installing but with light rub of paint thinner removed it completely. Top edges and surfaces are so well made that we decided to go nearly flush(less than 1/8th inch lower) with the countertop, exposing the sink from top and front. With proper caulking the finished product looks amazing. The accessories that came with the sink are also of huge help. Highly recommended if you are looking for a farmhouse sink to suit a modern kitchen or have a taste for it. Note: I also purchased faucet from Kraus which also turned out to be a good match. Only if they could produce the same finish on the faucet as the sink instead of chrome.

Beautiful Sink At A Reasonable Price
This is a quality sink, and we are pleased with the look and function as well. Considered the Kohler vault, and I even had a chance to see the vault in person at the Kohler design center in WI. For a few hundred dollars less, I'm glad we went with the Kraus. The Kraus was available in a few days with Amazon Prime. We also like the fact that the divider on the Kraus is a real divider, unlike the Vault, in which the divider only comes up a few inches. We ended up pairing the Kraus sink with the Kohler Purist stainless faucet. One word of caution for you installers would be to measure the height of your sink base doors. While this sink fits in a 36" base cabinet, we did have to order new doors for the base to accommodate the deep cutout required for installation. Just figure those adjustments into your calculations, expenses. Ordering different size doors for our sink base was not a problem, but that may not be the case in some circumstances.

Beautiful sink, with some oversights by the manufacturer...
My husband and I bought a fixer-upper a couple years ago after we got married, so we are pretty handy and decided to re-do our countertops and replace our sink and faucet this past weekend. We did a retrofit of our 36" cabinet to fit this 33" sink (our previous sink was a standard drop-in 1970s style at 33", and with the apron front on this one the full 36" Kraus sink would have fit, but looked cramped as it would be directly next to the dishwasher). The retrofit was surprisingly easy (we found a great Youtube tutorial for a similar sink by Kohler for ideas). We opted to leave the sink edge slightly higher (1/2") than our countertop, and are very happy with the look. We haven't used it much yet, as we finished late last night and need a part for the faucet, but I wanted to leave a detailed review on the things we've noticed from our work over this past weekend in case it helps someone in the future: Pros: - BEAUTIFUL sink, and the accessories we got when purchased as a set (grids, drains, etc.) are very nice and seem to be very good quality. Looks awesome with our brushed stainless appliances and fits right in. - Edges are great-looking all the way around (note that the back edge only goes down about 2", not the full height like the sides and front of the sink, but this was not a problem when installed). - Love the deep bowls and the sizes of each. - The sink was packaged securely in styrofoam that fit it very well, and it reached us in great condition. No crate as previous reviewers mentioned. - From our initial tests (have to finish the plumbing), it seems it will be relatively quiet when the water is running. - The rear-mount drains are great and gave us some space back in our cabinet for cleaning supplies - a welcome bonus! Cons / Things I hadn't realized from product info and other reviews: - Fingerprints show easily, but seem to be pretty easy to clean off as well. - NO INSTRUCTIONS! The 4-page leaflet was inaccurate (some drawings are correctly the 33" sink as marked, but interior shows 36" measurements instead?? Very strange. We got the correct one off Home Depot's website thankfully, but the one in the box was wrong!) The leaflet only shows some dimensional drawings and future care instructions, and just says to have it professionally installed. Um, okay. - NO hardware to secure the sink to the cabinet or anything else. We're figuring out how to do this ourselves, but thought it was very odd there is nothing included at all. We are using some basic bolts and washers to try and secure it, but it's a bit of a challenge due to the shape of the bottom of the sink -- very little to attach to! - The "cut out template" provided with the sink is a large piece of cardstock with rounded edges. Note that it is NOT the size of the full sink at all, but rather is only for under-mount installations and was therefore completely useless to us for over-mount or flush-mount installation types. The template makes no mention of the fact that it only fits the bowl sizes of the sink, and not the full measurements. No other templates were provided. We also felt this was a little strange, but the measurements and angles are very straightforward and we managed to cut our laminate countertops without too much trouble. Bottom line -- Very glad we bought this sink, and it absolutely seems worth the money. However, we wish the manufacturer had put a little more thought into their materials (besides the sink itself) -- definitely could have used at least some warning about the bad instructions, template and no hardware! I'm hoping that by writing this, some of the problems may be fixed in the future, or at least other buyers will know what they will get up front!

Love this sink!!
I have bought a lot of items on Amazon, but I would say this is by far the best purchase I have ever made. We bought this sink for a kitchen remodel in 2011, installed finally in 2013. As this is an apron sink we had to be creative with the sink base options. We ended up using a 36 in top of refrigerator cabinet with a valence to make a curved bottom and a thick piece of filler to achieve the correct height. This sink is absolute top quality--the granite installers were very impressed. We love how deep it is and it is super easy to keep clean. After 2 years there are only a few scratches, that are easily buffed out with stainless steel cleaner. This is an incredible great price for this product. I can't believe people will go to a kitchen store and pay over $1500 for a lesser quality product. Beautiful sink and at great price.

Solid Sink with Great Layout—Some Wear Over Time (1-Year Review)
Solid Sink with Great Layout—Some Wear Over Time (1-Year Review) Installed this sink in our barndo kitchen during the home build last year, and overall it’s been a solid addition. It’s heavy, well-built, and looks great in the space. The 60/40 split is a feature I really like—it’s nice having a dedicated wash side and rinse side. It also has a very substantial feel and doesn’t have that thin, “tinny” sound when you drop something in it. Now for the real-world side after a year of use. It does seem to show more scratches than other stainless sinks I’ve had in the past. Not a deal breaker, but definitely noticeable over time. The included wire rack didn’t hold up well either—the rubber feet came off pretty quickly, and without them it made a lot of noise against the bottom of the sink. I ended up not using it anymore. Overall, it’s still a good sink and the price was fair, but based on long-term use, I might consider a different option next time depending on priorities. Great Layout—But Shows Its Wear.

Amazing Sink
Three year UPDATE***2016 After owning this sink for three years I am still impressed...The only thing I would do differently is to put my garbage disposal on the larger side of the sink...I have chipped too many plates using the smaller side to rinse after dinner dishes...Hope this is a helpful hint for your sink. 2013...Although it is not installed yet I have done a great deal of comparison shopping on sinks. I am glad that by spending just a little more, you can get a quality sink that far surpasses what you can purchase at Home Depot or Lowes. I was impressed when my contractor looked at the sink on Amazon and said "buy it now I cannot get a better deal". He was impressed by the quality and more so the price. It came packed like a fine piece of china. Just taking it out of the box was a challenge. The sink is heavy for sure but after comparing lesser gauge sinks I am so happy I went with this one. It gets installed tomorrow and I sure it will meet all my expectations. ***Update. I have been using my sink now for two months and LOVE it. Worth the money!!!

Love my new sink
What can I say - it looks beautiful. Its heavy gage. The holes for the drains are at the back of the sink which gives more room under the sink in the cabinet. Its about 10" deep (old sink was 7"). It was something to get used to though as now you are leaning more into the sink. It also takes longer to fill. The other thing I wasn't expecting is that there is more splash back from the tap(water hitting bottom of sink and splashing up). But still it looks so good and would definitely recommend it.

Price reflects quality
I love it. Manufacturer paid very much attention to detail. A rich, upscale look. Price reflects the quality. Free shipping compensated the rather expensive price. After I bought it, I found something similar at a smaller bathroom shop (with cheaper work in the areas that are not seen, for 2/3-rd of this price, but I am not sorry I bought this one - I got something good.
