this is a great bright white light so far seems very durable and the flex arm is very strong will stay where you put it has a good 3" cord but wish the cord was more durable there is no magnet only L bracket mount

Great light for up close work..
I was intending to use this light for my woodworking tools in the garage. Almost each tool has its own additional light source. As I am getting older, I am noticing that I need a focused light to be able to line up my layout lines and make adjustments to things like blade height and drill depths. These additional work lights help with that. After receiving the light and trying it out it seemed more suitable for my craft room where I do more fine detail work and airbrushing. I do not have a metal table, so I used a large fender washer and screwed in the wood with a small countersunk screw. This worked well and the magnet is plenty strong to hold the light source in place. There is good range of motion on the gooseneck of the light, but if I pull it the wrong way the magnet will release. The beam of light is very focused and concentrates the light to about a 10" beam. The light around the 10" beam is more diffused. The light is bright, but not too bright, if that makes sense. This light does not produce harsh shadows, which is very helpful in my application. I like the inline cord on/off rocker switch and hope it will last a long time. This is a good light, and I can see why they market it as a sewing machine light. I can definitely recommend this product....

Strong magnet, beefy cord, bright
Bright! And a beefy cord and plug.... I had another brand that my work bought and the plug ripped out from the cord..... Highly recommend! Extremely strong magnet.Had to contact you me back and change it to 3 stars.... The magnet shattered, so now I'm stuck trying to find a replacement magnet to attach....

Disappointed
The light stopped working after 1.5 months. Can’t find a way to contact company to see if they will stand behind their product. Nice light but very disappointing that it failed so quickly

very cheaply made. not worth the asking price.
cheap. light isnt all that although does supply spme light, its not what you would expect from all those LED'S. the mag base is very cheap. not a strong magnet at all. when you bend the shaft, it is obviously very low quality, lol, squeeks and cracks as you bend it. over all just a very cheap build. I would be happy with it if it were a $15 or MAYBE a $20 light.

Bright and holds solidly to metal surface
Great goose neck mini lamp for drill press or bench top grinder. Wish the cord switch was closer to the head of the lamp for easier accessibility.
